  1. I'm on probably my 3rd listen all the way through by now. I think it's his best album, top to bottom, since Southeastern. I've already come around on songs that I was neutral on at the first listen, in ways that I still haven't on Dreamsicle and others. Some headshakingly good songwriting in many of these songs
  2. Nice. Easy walk to Old Town with tons of good food options
  3. Picked a helluva week to visit North Texas.
  4. No, but you're not far from Mid-Wilshire which has tons of incredible spots. Here are some guides: https://www.theinfatuation.com/los-angeles/neighborhoods/beverly-hills https://www.theinfatuation.com/los-angeles/neighborhoods/beverly-grove https://www.theinfatuation.com/los-angeles/neighborhoods/mid-wilshire Throwing Santa Monica in there too: https://www.theinfatuation.com/los-angeles/neighborhoods/santa-monica
  5. If we can have a 1200 page thread on an international conflict without talking politics, then surely we can have a thread on the ins and outs of a criminal trial.
  6. West Coast to East Coast:
  7. One time i was broker than usual and saw a 12 pack of this beer called "Steel Reserve." Had never heard of it before, but it was the cheapest on the shelf. Drank the whole 12 pack that afternoon. Woke up at about 3 am with my face stuck to the carpet. Couldn't figure out why I got so fucked up. Then looked at the empty box. 8.1% ABV
  8. Bud light was fancy beer in college. Only drank Natural Light, Busch Light, and Keystone.
  9. Graduating high school? That's a blastin'
  10. They also have the letter "i" in their names. What is your point?
  11. You are not ideological? . . . I . . don't think so
  12. To be fair to Rex, the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) has Ukraine ranked around other dastardly regimes like The Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Bolivia.
  13. It was a rhetorical question. I find it more astonishing that your take after being here for a minute is that everyone is downplaying the threat, and that's you're the only one who sees it for what it is.
  14. At this point there's a credible argument that you could start a small-to-mid size law firm with the sole practice area being going after defamatory statements made about the '20 election and the period up to and including 1/6, and it's aftermath. It also is a practice area that apparently will never run out of new causes of action.
  15. She's not. The thread she retweeted is like 30+ tweets by some asshole who is seriously arguing that Dominion and Smartamatic stole the election from Trump in CA. As proof, he posts the 1984 map of Regan's landslide win in CA.
