Less than a mile into Missouri, in a place called Pineville, across the Arkansas state line on Hwy 71 is a place called Macadoodles. They have end caps filled with “allocated” bourbons along with a sign that says “One per customer.” I almost took one of the store pick Larceny bottles. I do like Larceny but as I was pulling the bottle away I saw this behind it. I don’t know anything about this nor have I even seen it or heard about it. But I took a chance on it because it said Willett on the label, it was $43, it was on an end cap, it was the last one, and it said “private stock” on the label. I’m willing to bet that at this price point I won’t be disappointed. Unless one of you says it’s an $18 bottle at best. Then I’ll just throw some Coca Cola on it. I did walk out of there with an EWSiB (haven’t seen this in Texas recently and it was the last one on the rack) and what looked like a really good rye. All 3 bottles right at $120 out the door. I already partook of the wheat and I was not disappoint. I know what I have in EW. The Johnny Drum is the great unknown…..
