  1. Two words. Kliff Kingsbury. He has not won a home Big 12 Twelve game other than KU in 3 years now.
  2. Do you happen to know the exact nature of his injury or its severity? He wouldnt have played any anyway, but noticed he'd be pretty much out of commission next season. Thanks.
  3. Perhaps true, but 89/59 is hardly indicative of the officiating crew "working hard for the home team". Even considering Big 12 officiating incompetence, it's a fairly silly suggestion.
  4. Tech gets a commitment from Cooper Laake, DL out of Austin Bowie. Among others, profile shows best other offers to be Oregon, Purdue, UH.
  5. Tech had 89 yards in penalties and UT had 59.
  6. Wouldn't be surprised to see another one or two this week end.
  7. Bregman's new YouTube channel. https://sports.yahoo.com/alex-bregman-surprised-struggling-waitress-500-tip-171028515.html
  8. Fwiw, Rivals as an example, lists Ramsey as the 39th best player in the country. Pretty nice offer list.
  9. Anybody have any idea why Peyton Powell is visiting Tech again this week end? As a TT fan, I'm not expecting a decommitment or anything of the sort. Just find it the timing kind of puzzling. He was there only a week before his UT commitment and has visited multiple times. Landon Peterson visiting again, which is more understandable given his recent decommitment. Perhaps they're just friends and Powell is going along for the ride.
  10. Tech received a 2020 QB commitment this evening. It was Wilson Long out of Regents School in Austin. I'm as big a critic of KK as anybody. Not a fan. About the only thing I trust him about is quarterbacks. That said, this one is something of a head scratcher. Undersized guy (listed at 6 feet tall) who's played against weak competition. Beats me.
  11. Recently received Auburn and Miss Stste offers.
  12. If you don't like Tech, I sure won't lose any sleep over it. Whatever. If you're feeling in the mood to criticize something however, there's probably some value in being factual and accurate. The above is the biggest crock of shit I've ever read here. It's absurd.
  13. Not sure exactly what it means, but Peterson visited Tech yet again last week end and then decommitted from Baylor shortly thereafter. Likewise, Hookfin appears to be pretty cozy with TT, but appears to me as if he's getting the major slow play by the Tech staff.
  14. I don't like to say a lot about our relationship. Let's just say she found me sponge worthy.
  15. I'm a Tech fan, and granted she did win a national championship, but I always considered Marsha Sharp to be a head case. Just try wearing a Baltimore Oriole cap to a home Yankee game and see what happens.
  16. Not sure I follow his thinking here. TT traditionally in the Kingsbury era has been a much tougher QB depth chart than the one in Austin (Mahomes, Davis Webb, Mayfield). Plus as mentioned, a pretty good looking freshman QB starting now as well as a pretty athletic soph in Duffey waiting for a chance to play, and Maverick McIvor arriving in Dec. UT has recruited well at QB as of late and as a TT fan I'd love to have him, but I just don't see it happening.
  17. Not so much a late riser, he's been a 4 star since the get go. It's just that Parker committed to TT way back in May of 2017 and has remained steadfast in his commitment since then, kind of throwing cold water on the typical competitive recruiting process. Pretty good player.
  18. Tech site quotes TT commit Steven Parker today as saying Herman and staff are still really "pushing" him for a visit. Says he is 99% Tech unless something major happens like a coach firing. I'll note 99% is not 100%. Through six games at S. Oak Cliff, Parker has 48 tackles, 15 sacks, 19 tfl, and 4 forced fumbles. We'll see what happens.
  19. Additionally, Powell's football footballing roots are in Midland, a place with an incredible amount of Tech Influence. Opening day NFL rosters had more TT WRs than any school in the country. That means a lot to some kids.
  20. Your skills of perception are to be admired. If only all of us had the skill to form hard and fast judgments regarding landscape and architecture pertaining to places we've never been.
  21. Oh, I'm aware. Just thought his timing and the fact it was his third visit was a little interesting. Believe me, I'm hardly putting him in the committed to TT column. He has demonstrated more than a passing interest though.
  22. Not sure what it means, the Tech Rivals site says they have confirmed Peyton Powell will be in Lubbock this week end. Has visited Tech 3 times previously I believe it is.
  23. So so. Not really among the top tier DB's. Has gotten some playing time tho due to TT DB's being MIA for a variety of reasons. Played 40 snaps against TCU, but graded out third from the bottom of all defensive players according to Rivals grading system for whatever that's worth.
