  1. The moral of the story is if it's shaped like a dick, OU fans will figure out a way to go tip to tip.
  2. Its like his head was molded in an ice cube tray
  3. Yeah, I'm still mystified every time I hear people talk up Porter Moser as a good coach. This is his 21st season as a HC and his career conference winning percentage is under .500. The vast majority of those seasons were in mid major conferences where you would expect a coaching prodigy to dominate. He basically got lucky that a nun watched all his games in that final 4 run and made them a national feel good story. Other than that, his career is average at best.
  4. what a classic SEC slugfest ticklefight this is. just next-level play at both ends of the court.
  5. No shit, its like making an argument for aggy winning the national championship in football next year, and citing the works of William Liucci as your rationale.
  6. does not equal people largely have recency bias. Lets check back in on the matter in 4 years and see if Arabs are 100% on team GQP. My guess is the answer will be "fuck no"
  7. pfff....that region will continue to be a fucking shitshow for decades, and there will be countless opportunities for the arab vote to see exactly how Trump/GQP will make arabs lives miserable in the middle east. As long as we continue to march along the path towards a Christian theocracy, its more likely the arab vote will realize they have no allies here.
  8. Yeah I saw his putrid FT % a while ago when I looked up his stats. These kids are basically playing basketball full time these days, and this guy not only cant figure out how to raise his shitty FT shooting, but he actually managed to cut his percentage in half. That's a huge red flag that this dude doesn't really give a shit, and isnt willing to put in the work. I doubt having Mitchell on this years squad would make much of a difference at all. Tremendous athlete, average(at best) player.
  9. WOMP, WOMP https://www.reformaustin.org/politics/austin-real-estate-developer-nate-paul-pleads-guilty-in-federal-fraud-case/ Sounds like a pretty sweet deal for the guy. Multiple charges dropped that carried sentences of up to 30 years. Prosecutors recommending a sentence of no more than 6 months for the one count he pled guilty to. Business as usual, I guess.
  10. So fine, have Wemby and CP give jerseys to kids whose folks aren't worth 9 figures. I found it tone deaf AF on the part of the NBA, you didn't. There's not much to argue here.
  11. I'm not saying Wemby,CP,or the kids did anything wrong. I'm just stating it's a tone deaf tweet by the NBA considering the thousands of kids in the LA area in the same situation whose parents aren't worth 9 figures. Some kids were probably sleeping in cars last night, not court side at daddy's NBA game getting game worn jerseys.
  12. I'm sure people will masturbate to this fantasy for decades, but it aint never gonna happen.
  13. Complete shitbag who hid behind religion while doing shitbag things. Fuck off Bill.
  14. Two guys that are (or will be) worth 9 figures giving their jerseys to the kids of another guy worth 9 figures. I'm having a hard time keeping it together. Those kids might just make it after all.
  15. Gonna get pretty dicey here in Austin. I'm off to pick up 6-7 cases of shitter paper and a months worth of perishable food. I pray I havent waited too long to secure my provisions.

    Tre Johnson

ESPN's latest big board draft rankings 1. Cooper Flagg, SF/PF, Duke 2. Dylan Harper, PG/SG, Rutgers 3. Ace Bailey, SG/SF, Rutgers 4. VJ Edgecombe, SG, Baylor 5. Nolan Traore, PG, Saint-Quentin 6. Kon Knueppel, SG/SF, Duke 7. Egor Demin, PG/SG, BYU 8. Kasparas Jakucionis, PG, Illinois 9. Khaman Maluach, C, Duke 10. Tre Johnson, SG, Texas -Height: 6-6 | Age: 18.7 | Prev. rank: 14 One of the most talented scorers in the class, Johnson is taking on a huge workload at Texas, which has predictably led to some ups and downs. A gifted athlete with an aggressive mentality, Johnson has shot the ball well from distance (43% from 3 on seven attempts per game) and been key to Texas' good start 921 points on 48% from the field). His mix of size and fluid athleticism in the backcourt makes him a difficult cover, with a range of ways to score from all over the floor. The big-picture concern with Johnson's projection is whether his style of play will be conducive to winning basketball in an NBA context, due to the number of tough shots he takes, and bouts of tunnel vision and questionable decision-making. He's not adding much value yet on the defensive end to prop that up. Johnson has displayed these shot-happy tendencies for some time, and it's unclear how it will translate in a situation where he's not given the green light to constantly shoot. His gifts are obvious, but teams will be working to figure out how his game scales down if and when he's not the focal point of an offense. Their latest mock draft has him going at pick 9 to the Nets.
  17. I vaguely remember the campus location having this chicken sandwich that I think you could only order from the downstairs bar. It was the size of a fucking frisbee, and fairly affordable so I would swing by to eat those sober even. But mostly we just boozed there and had good times (early-mid 90's). I aint gonna hate on Trudy's.
  18. I'm still trying to figure out why cowboys fans think his dipshit son will do a better job running that circus. He's like Jerrah, except with no success on his own merits, correct?
  19. I'd probably avoid their dick pumps as well.

    Mexican

Fond memories of getting housed at the downstairs bar/patio of the campus location back in the day ....way back in the day. Once I moved back to Austin, I would hit it up the NorthStar location every now and then for the buffet. I hear the quality went to shit after covid, and I hadn't been back. Apparently I wasn't the only one. It seems strange that they are hinting there is a future for the business, now that they have zero locations open.
  21. I've always thought that the reason Beard was fired wasn't so much about what he did but moreso about the chances of him doing it again. If they didn't think he was willing to make the life choices necessary to avoid being in the same scenario, than it wasn't worth the risk to bring him back. Not sure anything has changed on that front.
  22. It's certainly my best run. Won one big flip early where I was 55%. My bluffs got through, I cracked aces, my sets held, and I scooped a bomp pot. Most importantly, I didn't get fucked once.so I prudently invested my winnings in this for future sessions.
  23. I get it. I'm a broncos fan and thought the plan to build around Nix would be a disaster, so I'm eating some crow. But maybe settle for a comparison thats a bit more defensible. Like Hebert, or Burrow even.
  24. Romo making the obvious Bo Nix/Tom Brady comparison, lulz
  25. Solid 1/2 evening at TCH Austin. 5.5 hours, in for $300, out for $2605.
