  1. Pretty fucking hilarious for Rogan and his bro army to tweetbully Hotez into a dumbass "debate" over settled science when Rogan is too much of a massive coward to even have Sam Seder come on his show to debate him on anything because he knows Seder doesn't give a fuck about getting invited back and will absolutely clean his clock on anything related to politics and policy.
  2. I don't think Dubin is the answer over Bielak. He can throw some heat but he walks too many and gets in trouble often. I think he's going to get shelled at the next level.
  3. Terrible week of Astros baseball that just happened to coincide with the Rangers worst week of the season as well. Wasted opportunities.

  5. did you get this figured out? curious what it was...
  6. They will roll with the current staff and probably use Ronel Blanco as a sixth starter to manage Hunter Brown's innings. Also expect to see one of Dubin or Arrighetti get called up as well. I don't think we have the prospects to make any big trade waves.
  7. Full disclosure I wasn't watching the game last night but was listening to the radio pbp while smoking some ribs and crushing a few Art Cars. My interpretation of the final play was shaped only by Ford (who thought it was interference but said it wasn't reviewable) and the clips of Meyers running down the line as the ball hits his helmet. Having watched the final inning on MLBTV replay, I understand why Martinez was so pissed and kind of agree with @TonyTexas now. I had assumed the winning run had scored from third base and forgot this was a gidp play with the winning run scoring from second on the error. Could've very easily been called interference and it wouldn't have been an incorrect call, but a better throw doesn't allow the winning run to score. I'll take it regardless. Dumb rule.
  8. Wrong, many thought we got a lucky break on that call as well. What I don't understand is how that play was reviewed but last night's wasn't. I agree with Martinez about the inconsistent application of the rule, but disagree wholeheartedly with his bitchass comments that they lost the game because of the ump's defensible judgment call that Meyers didn't interfere. He may have been running out of the lane but he's in line with first base when the throw arrives and more importantly imo, the throw did not beat him to the bag. I guess Martinez wants every catcher to just peg guys in the back as they're running to first base? .
  9. Damn, that's sad news. RIP LeAnn
  10. This bone spur news pisses me off. Surely they had to know about it before. RIght?????
  11. Yep...i would rather not win than have Bellinger win a WS with Houston. Fuck that. It's a crazy statement but it's true. We've won two WS already, we don't need a third with that fucking asshat coattailing us. Until he publicly apologizes for slandering Altuve the way he did, he can fuck alll the way off forever.
  12. The data showed that on average pitchers required 35 days to recover from an oblique injury and position players took on average 26 days to return. Though, it should be noted that variance was due to a pitcher’s build up being different to return to the mound. (4,6) The bad news is that if you were part of the 7.9% of players that received a cortisone or Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) injection, it set you back another 11 days on average. (4) ..... Oblique injuries are very unique in that the re-injury rate is around 12% with about a third of them being in the same or following year4. This makes it vital that the return to play protocol is designed with a slow progression and return to on field activities are not rushed in any way. Athletes can re-injure themselves with something as simple as the stationary bike. In order to progress them into on field activities it is important that they demonstrate the ability to stabilize both statically and throughout a full ROM, furthermore they need to demonstrate the ability to rotate powerfully and decelerate effectively all without any restriction of any kind. https://pbats.com/oblique-injuries-return-to-play/ https://www.p2sportscare.com/articles/spine/oblique-strain/
  13. Is that better than TJ or no? About the same? How did they miss this bone spur?
  14. Y'all remember this? Who fucked this up? How did it go from a small muscle strain/no structural damage/nothing serious to this ominous bullshit today?
  15. I just don't understand how we went from a nothingburger injury (according to LMJ and the team )so many months ago to this.
  16. spoiled the ending of Succession for his plane ride today
