  1. FFS you guys. This is why you never got laid in HS.
  2. It's an effective play. "Your problems are someone else's fault."
  3. Any comment on preachy scripts, shitty characters or slow plots?
  4. Possibly done by the Allies, but also coulda done via Russian navy fuckup (They're Aggy.)
  5. Every episode is basically a movie.
  6. Season 2 of Land Man is gonna be lit!
  7. Credit where it’s due, our Federal Government checks/balances often work good. It’s also a good callout. This ordeal has called out some spending that is unwise. But to meaningfully reform things you gotta work through the framework that’s in place. This whole thing will end in a few months and no reforms, including the necessary ones, will happen. Just one big dog whistle.
  8. When a barn is infected, all the hens need to be euthanized, barns sterilized (think powerwashers and clorox and such) then new chicks hatched and raised a few months. All while all the fixed costs remain. The rise in egg prices doesn't come close to covering all that.
  9. MyFitnessPal. If I'm paying for it, it ain't much. 1234 They put too much fat, salt and butter in everything, even the cooked vegetables. And when you cook at home, try to use the "direct" ingredients. Made chili today with dry beans soaked and simmered. Canned beans have added sugar(!) and calcium chloride for some reason. Yeah it takes extra time, but if you plan ahead, get your kids involved, it's entirely doable.
  10. A Musk v DOGE dis track rap battle would be awesome.
  11. More from his visit to Ukraine. These guys seem very professional and to have good equipment, up to and including a SCAR-L (drool):
  12. I'd love to get in a room with these dipshits so I could kick their ass. Ona at time or all at once. Don't really care.
  13. Free on YT, complete with the cuss words. "You want some pie?" "Gotta go to the john."
  14. And thank you for posting BlueSky links. Got me some good channels to follow.
  15. FWIW, the WSJ is doing a pretty good job of reporting this. Yeah they’re subscription based, but maybe that money keeps them level?
  16. It’d be better if we were doing this only to help Ukraine, but to sell it we need to articulate more reasons: 1) Domestic manufacturing of highly technical weapons. 1a) All the additional weapons we’re selling allied because of how good our shit kills things. 2) Mineral, oil and NG 3) The only good Russian is a dead Russian. Since 1946, America has worked to make a World where Russia can’t project power outside the borders of their own shithole country. Those of us raised in the 80’s and still love Reagan need to remind those of us raised in the 80’s who no longer believe in that. We are SO close to stuffing those fuckwads in a box that Harry Truman started building a generation ago. Let us not lose faith.
  17. I am cautious in my assumptions. Did that 25 years ago. Moved to Dalart, TX of all places. Great food in Texas. Hodie's BBQ.
  18. My sister (no pics) works in education. She has an interesting counterpoint. Not saying i agree with her, but it definitely makes me think. She says there was a big pivot several years back towards STEM. Something had to come out and it was largely civics; kids don't get as many Social Studies as they used to. Those kids are now young adults and voting. Might be a connection there. And maybe not.
  19. And maybe some of this: https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2025/02/04/after-losing-15000-vehicles-some-russian-troops-in-ukraine-are-riding-horses/

  21. So an iconic movie, based on an iconic book, has devolved into Fast and Furious-level sequel shlock?
  22. And when's the right time to short this crap? This week or closer to midterm elections?
  23. Would. Of course. But I prefer women not made of plastic.
