If I understand tariffs right, the end user is the one who pays the cost. If the Federal Govrnment is the end user, all they’re doing is paying themselves back. Tax the import then pay extra for the result.
Yeah foreign buyers it’s different as they will see a higher cost. But I dunno, our shit’s so good it may not matter. If you don’t like the price of an F35, go make you OWN stealth fighter.
I’ll allow it. We all should. If we are dispassionate haters of everything Russia, we also keep our dislike of the anti-war crowd in check. If they’re coming over, if only for awhile, we welcome them.
So again, is it wrong to all the sudden be optimistic? Next thing to watch is if we actually do give/sell them some more kickass American weapons. The hawk Republicans need to talk up the fact selling weapons creates high-end, technical, American manufacturing jobs. There is a segment of American blue collars who would buy into that. Enough people to flip Ukrainian support to “yes.”
YouTube’s algorithm is awesome. Brings me stuff it thinks l might like, then sucks me in for a hour. Recently it’s been hitting me with 20-30 yo music. Very disappointed I didn’t listen to this stuff when I was young.
I never gave Kid Rock a chance. His first 5 years of hard rock kicks ass. Just one big dis track on the World.
Finally saw it. I liked it but not as good as the movies in the MI:3-5 run. They just tried too hard with a complex story and sucked out the humor, kinda like they did with Infinity War and Endgame. But I'm in for the finale of course.
Streaming live sports sucks in general. There's a long enough of a lag from real time that the posts in my text groups spoil everything. I see the text before I see it on Hulu.

Looks to me like mostly O&G first. Our President is hung up on lowering gas prices (despite the negative impacts to US producers.) This gets that with the ancillary benefit of harming Russian oil revenue (because of lower prices.) Again, I don't wanna stan for this guy, but the deal has merit.
