  1. So we’re running low on 300BO stuff. I can piece it together but I’d rather you hop on optics planet and snag you a completed aero precision build in fde (I like 2 different colors between 300 and 556 but if you want black that’s cool). 8” barrel with 7” handguard Get a BCG (nickel boron) and radian charging handle With that you’re good to go. Slap it on and shoot. They’re about $425 plus $160 for BCG and $75 for charging handle. That’s cheaper than I can do. 300BO burns all of its power in about 8” so you don’t need a longer barrel. I run an 8” and a 9” and both are great. Supers (120 grains and less ideally) get you terminal performance out to about 125 yards. Subs (180-220 grains) when run suppressed have terminal performance out to about 65 yards. I shoot supers mainly. Aero makes great stuff at that price point. If you grab a completed lower for $300 or so from aero you’d have a complete gun and that would be my preference.
  2. Or I can build you a 300 and 556 upper aero precision
  3. Budget? 300BO if I had to choose one in your scenario.
  4. Larue is quality shit still. Good stuff.
  5. Everything larue is overpriced. Except triggers. If you want some stripped uppers buy some Wilson combat.
  6. Academy in cedar park for some 7-08 in. Went on the floor Monday. I’ll check my shop tomorrow for 68W 25-06 is tough right now. If you need ammo - start getting it now. Don’t bitch in 3 months when there is nothing on the shelves.
  7. Not a huge fan of their handgun ammo. I think it’s overpriced. Hornady black for rifles is good to go. I like the Winchester silvertips and sig v-crown for defensive loads in pistols.
  8. Will need a new buffer tube. Radical gets a pretty low grade from me. You can do better for not much more money. I can get you a Springfield saint 7.5 for 850.
  9. Wilson combat is best combat. Don’t think twice.
  10. We already do that. Any gun store in the country will do that.
  11. We can also alert the ATF or our local designated FBI rep. Which we do and have done many times.
  12. Yea everyone knows. We also work with other local stores to let them know when someone is attempting a straw sale etc. There is more communication than you think.
  13. We’ve been moving quite a bit of DD stuff. PDW’s are still tough to get. Very few under 21 people coming in for guns as some might expect. We do a lot of high dollar sales so our clientele is different and we’ll known. I did have a younger kid in this week that didn’t seem right so he got a big nope from me on purchasing anything.
  14. Yeah - I don’t like the nra. USCCA is becoming an aternative though. Never get commission. Pretty standard I. The industry that commission is not paid. I can also refuse any sale I want for any reason. Not a problem.

  16. I don’t own the gun store. Not sure how you got that idea. I do t make the rules but I didn’t sell anything to anyone under 21 today. In regards to voting - there are lots of issues that impact that. I’ve voted both sides of the aisle many times. If there’s a candidate that has good ideas I do t care which side he’s on.
  17. This is a pretty lame and innacurate take. You can do better. Mandated background checks on private sales through gun stores? In favor. 21+ to buy an AR? In favor. They’re are other things I’m open to and in favor of.
  18. No. Production issues I think. Everything is on allocation and they’re not on any lists. None.
