  1. I don't think it's ever going to rain again.
  2. There's no such thing as hell.
  3. I give him an A+ for not being Donald Trump.
  4. Lol suck it losers. Biden kicked Trump's ass. Maybe next time don't nominate a fat corrupt failed-businessman for President.
  5. More schooling won't do anything for them.
  6. Oh, I know! To put an end to children being slaughtered in their classrooms?
  7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kennedy_v._Louisiana
  8. Does Twitter want specific performance? Is that even an available remedy? Isn't there a billion dollar liquidated damages clause?
  9. I voted in the Republican primary this year. First time I've done that since before 2015.
  10. You know, I can't think of anything more American than schoolchildren being slaughtered in their own classroom. It's right up there with apple pie and poor test scores in reading, math, and science.
  11. Should be mandatory in schools.
  12. I expect the Texas Legislature to pass a bill adding bullet proof vests to the list of school supplies.
  13. Don't forget that guy who shot up a movie theater during a Batman movie.

  15. In theory he could declare martial law.
  16. It's not impossible. All you have to do is presume it had some meaning.
  17. I'm saying the framer's expectations, even if their collective intent could be ascertained, is irrelevant. All they did was draft the document. If you're going to look beyond the text to find meaning in the words used -- e.g., perhaps you think it's ambiguous -- then what matters is the intent of the states that ratified it.
  18. The states ratified the Constitution, not the founders. And the "intent" should be found by looking at the words that were used.
  19. I obviously read what you quoted, which has to do with the text of the second amendment and is correctly arguing that the first part should be given meaning. This is true under any theory of textual interpretation. What do the founder's expectations have to do with that?
  20. Kind of makes it difficult to escape. Maybe we can set up a tunnel system like they have at the banks. You push a button and you're transported to someplace safe, like Canada.
