  1. Good start. Just wonder about the minutes distribution with Disu out. Cunningham playing a ton.
  2. First 4 to 6 minutes of this games are helter skelter. Teams just feeling each other out.
  3. Settling in. Miami's defense will likely be its undoing. They're not disciplined. We'll se..
  4. The Creighton guy pushed the SD shooter on the way to the basket and altered his shot. It was a foul. The idea of "swallowing your whistle" at the end of the game is stupid and beyond. If it's a foul, you call it. If you don't call it you need to be something other than officiating.
  5. Yeah, they just need enough offensively to finish this off.
  6. SD tough and resilient. Down Friday night by 9 with 11 left to the closest thing this tournament has (athletically) to an NBA team. Shrugged it off, won going away. Couldn't expect SD to go away today.
  7. I understand how it works. Was just pointing out that Texas is 2nd favorite. They will remain as such is they win today. After 5 screen and rolls you'd think SD would get it....
  8. SD is going to have to get some things in transition. Just such a struggle for them to do much in half court sets.
  9. UConn actually a little over even money. +105. Texas next at +350.
  10. Got nothing on this homeless guy trying to "cook" nachos. Hope they were good for $1MM in damages. High praise to the KEYE content guy on this. The Austin Fire Department has arrested a man accused of setting a downtown Austin historic building on fire while trying to make nachos on Tuesday. AFD said John Daniel Banks, 32, was arrested on Tuesday, March 21 after allegedly setting the Granberry Building, located at 907 Congress Avenue, on fire. This happened just after midnight on Tuesday, March 21 just a few blocks from the State Capitol. According to the arrest affidavit, Banks was staying in the abandoned building without permission. He admitted that he tried to light a bag of chips on fire because he thought it would be a good way to cook nachos. Banks said the bed caught on fire. He tried to put the fire out and left the building. When he returned, there was a fire on the second floor. Fire officials estimated the damages from the fire at about $1 million. https://cbsaustin.com/news/local/austin-man-arrested-for-setting-downtown-historic-building-on-fire-causing-1m-in-damages
  11. They're weak defensively. Atrocious, actually. UConn is the class of the tournament right now. Doesn't mean UConn's going to win it all but it all came together for a gang rape.
  12. Not really. Not even close. Alabama is the closest this tournament has to a pro team. San Diego State just beat that team into submission. FAU is the best-coached team in the tournament and just took care of the mighty SEC and Big 12, in succession. Nothing's a done deal. Again, every game is a game 7 and cruising doesn't exist at this point. Nor on the first day of the tournament.
  13. Clear cut favorite. You'll see it from Vegas in an hour or so once this pillaging of Gonzaga is done. Even money, probably less, to win the title. But the tournament is a game 7 every time out. Off night shooting, someone twists an ankle, whatever. We've seen it. Teams that are clear cut become victims. And it's the beauty of the event and why it's the greatest that sport has to offer.
  14. Locomotive. Laying waste to any team in its way. Hard to believe UConn lost 6 of 8 during the season. But that was early. This is now.
  15. He fouled him. It wasn't flagrant. But it was a foul, easy call. Very easy.
  16. Few looks like he's ready for drinks. More than a few.
  17. CBS cringing at one side of the FF matchup. It can't re-bracket for market share assuming the seeds hold.
  18. Gonzaga's defensive rotation is just so bad.
