  1. Yup, by the time ASU gets it, if they get it, they'll barely have a heave. And it won't be from 60.
  2. Kansas running into budgetary issues, apparently with uniforms.
  3. Looks more like rain but (any) snow on it sounds like a pretty rare event.
  4. Big scoring night from Miller. I always thought he was more of an assist guy....
  5. Alabama SID was on his A-game prepping Oats. What a cluster.
  6. Fine. It's a fantastic, in-game football environment. We only get one of these every season.
  7. Late to the game but such a great show. The energy and stamina of Springsteen are truly amazing. Right at 3 hours and looked like he could go for another hour. We saw him go back near the drum kit for one drink from a water bottle. I'm sure that wasn't it but he was non-stop. Just such an outstanding entertainer.
  8. Once he got his picture taken, he was done. No way in hell the Texas brand would want any part of this scene every time it went on the road.
  9. There absolutely was strong consideration that the charge would be dropped. It's Travis County. The DA is a tapeworm.
  10. Agree on the physical talent angle but I think what separates Mahomes is that he has re-defined the position with his ability to / how he improvises, taking his baseball prowess onto a football field by throwing from every conceivable arm angle, consistency making something out of nothing plays, and the like. He truly is one of a kind.
  11. And that may well be. If the city government's collective ineptness (both CM and council) is effectively neutering any ability to enforce the law, then that's the end game that the ACC wants to achieve anyway. And since there's no one that can / will hold the city's feet to the fire to enforce the ban, we'll just continue to see it grow more and more.
  12. Okay, help me get across the finish line because I must be missing something. If for some odd reason Chacon is choosing not to enforce a city law on his own volition, shouldn't he be held accountable by superior(s) who have made it a priority to hold cops accountable in following the law? (And good for them.) And since we see no evidence of Chacon being held accountable, why do we think that's occurring except for a council preference to effectively pretend the ban / law doesn't exist? Either the police chief is being grossly insubordinate and needs to pay for it or he's simply following directions from his supervisors, direct or indirect. Appreciate your feedback.
  13. The COO / City Manager manages the police chief and the city council gives marching orders to the City Manager, yes? I'll defer to you as it seems like we've been down this path. Until the council collectively quits masturbating over the thought of having a zip code like a place in the Pacific Northwest then we're going to continue to see more camping in the city, voter mandate be damned.
  14. Yeah, Cronk's gone today. As noted above the APD deal was the final straw, planned or otherwise. He's already clashed with the council over Manley in '20, how to handle the (ongoing) camping issue and then there's this ice storm fiasco. There are four members of the current council who voted to give Cronk a $38,000 raise 60 days ago. Of course, two of those are sponsoring the meeting / execution that will be occurring today. On to the next city manager and the 2, or 22, consultants that will no doubt be engaged. As with most anything that this council / tribe of buffoons undertakes it's not about making a good decision. It's about simply hoping we'll see a minimal level of idiocy that no doubt will occur, somehow or someway.
  15. No one should have to be exposed to those uniforms in the K-State / OU game. Assault and battery on the eyes.
  16. Baylor's ball movement is just outstanding.
  17. So nice to be for Kansas City since that unbridled scum Tyreek Hill is gone.
  18. I'm sure it's buried in this thread somewhere....What's the best way (site / app) to get alerts on domestic airfare updates, by carrier? TIA
  19. Then it may be a primarily empty bus depending upon how many players Huggins has walk there.
