  1. 13 fatalities. "There will be more."
  2. Local presser now.
  3. Once I saw that the entire RV camp was swept away, in the middle of the night, I feared as such. On top of the camps. So sad.
  4. Yes, it was supposed to be per the earlier presser. https://www.kens5.com/video/news/live_breaking/kens-5-news-extended-flash-flood-coverage/273-b66a2621-6083-41c2-a324-0ff181b0a672
  5. Latest estimate is another 1 - 2 inches in Austin by tomorrow night with the system pushing things back to the west over the impacted area during the day tomorrow. Jesus.
  6. Yup. They love the night life.
  7. Sorry, it was just on air for about 5 minutes. Supposed to be winding down here locally late afternoon as Jimmy mentioned.
  8. KXAN going live now. And now gone.
  9. The low is gradually making its way eastward and the outer edge is out of the Kerrville area, finally. Moving over us but it looks like a lot of the moisture has been tapped out so the rain isn't too heavy. Need to keep that trend. Can't believe I'm saying that.
  10. Marble Falls rain bomb in 2007 - 19 inches in six to eight hours.
  11. The guy on the San Antonio station seems to be speaking pretty confidently about the models and another big round overnight in the same area of the Hill Country. By that time the damage will have been done, the toll of what is TBD. It hasn't sounded good but hoping for the best. Supposed to be another presser at 3 so hopefully some updates. Nightmare.
  12. Someone posted a radar image a couple of hours ago but it could have been the same image we saw at 1AM. Perfect storm, so to speak. System got cut off and, yeah, just parked itself. That often yields the catastrophic shit.
  13. The biggest issue was that it sat in pretty much the exact same place for 10 - 12 hours.
  14. Live coverage from CBS San Antonio: https://www.kens5.com/video/news/live_breaking/kens-5-news-extended-flash-flood-coverage/273-b66a2621-6083-41c2-a324-0ff181b0a672
  15. The bodies of the two youngest kids in the house were never found.
  16. Ugh. That last sentence.
  17. Reminiscent of the Wimberley thread on Shaggy 10 years ago.
  18. No comment when it came to fatalities and missing but ominous tone from the county judge and mayor. The mayor was barely able to speak. Worse than the '87 flood. Update from officials at 3P.
  19. Yeah, that was rough. Rudi Koski from (local) Fox.
  20. Live presser: https://www.kvue.com/video/news/live_breaking/live-coverage-evacuations-underway-for-guadalupe-river-area-in-kerrville-amid-dangerous-flooding/285-ea9be3c1-73c4-402f-8daf-93dc261dca37
  21. 18+ inches now being reported in Mason County over the last 24 hours
  22. The problem is that this is also the screen shot from 12 hours ago.
