  1. Kind of like Washington last year, at some point you have to give the team that keeps winning the big games credit. UGA has played 5 games against playoff, or last team out, playoff teams this year. They won all of them but one, which was on the road and featured them coming down from a massive 28 point deficit to see a win erased at the end by a freak individual play. Georgia always plays with their food, even when they were on their massive regular season winning streak they frequently played down to their competition and would need all four quarters to pull away and win. But in some ways they are the opposite of Ohio State. When the chips are on the table (and Nick Saban isn't on the other sideline), it seems to be stupid to bet against Smart's Georgia squads.
  2. Leaving this here: Sark vs Kirby and Kalen 0-4
  3. Matt Campbell kicking a fg down 35. mack brown moron
  4. Because they don't want to talk about how way over budget and past time the whole boondoggle is going to cost.
  5. Our defense is nails. They keep getting put in no win situations and winning.
  6. Take him off the field in the red zone. He is a huge liability.
  7. Quinn just put them back in the game. Only thing we couldn't do
  8. Quinn has to pull the ball down and scramble there to move the chains. Even if he is short it would have forced Sark to be aggressive and go for it. I understand trusting the D, but we need to not take our foot off the gas. Our last three possessions have featured Sark making very, very conservative decisions--which shows faith in our D, but is limiting our offense and our ability to stepping on their throat. The best thing he could do for the D.
  9. We didn't get any pressure, gave him easy throwing lanes and we had a zone blitz call with an Edge guarding their best skill player. And now they have a short field because our punter is garbage and our offense refuses to play complimentary football.
  10. What happened to sark and quinn having a perfect orchestrated "script" to start games? We look lost and off to start lots of games now.
  11. Why wouldn't you just take the delay of game there? It doesn't affect field goal and gets you another second gone.
  12. Can we discuss what this might look like if Michigan had it's two best players. Loveland and Will Johnson? This is the same physical team we played, minus their two best players.
  13. Play call was fine, guy was wide open. But in the larger context of the game it is beyond stupid.
  14. So stupid. Run it three times and ideally don't score on first two and you take another two minutes off before scoring a touchdown.
  15. Why aren't they running the ball?
  16. It's even sillier based on the new rules. Since you go right back on offense and HAVE to go for two if you score. So why not just run your best two point call first.
  17. Brent Key is brain dead. Go for two there and win or lose.
  18. Are you a moron? our ooc is leaps and bounds better than Tenn. a push? they aren’t even in the same league, literally. they played fcs and one of the 5 worst teams in FBS. UTEP is one of the 15 worst. its literally the equivalent of three FCS games, literal throw aways on the schedule. UM was on the road against a top 25, power five defense. CSU,A team who might very well play the top ranked G5 team in a CCG game and two other respectable, competitive G5 schools.
  19. Sack rate is not really different. First half = 5.65% of all drop backs (I don't have scrambles for positive gains here, so sack rate would be a bit lower) vs. Second half = 5.33% of all drop backs. In addition some of the variance (in yards per attempt) might/would be from the more conservative calls when we are already up big in the first half of the year's second half games.
  20. So when students/fans rush the field, hemming in 100-plus high-T individuals from a visiting team that just lost (perhaps at the last second) with thousands of stupid, intoxicated maniacs running around we fine the school, if and only if they tear down the goal posts? But using common sense, we know that is a far more dangerous situation for everyone involved that students throwing water bottles onto the field in protest. Look, Kirby should be happy they got the call right, and said we still beat the crap out of them, on their home field--because else wise everyone would be talking about how the game-changing pick was wiped away and Texas was going to come back and win, or whatever.
  21. Nah. Keep it. If they both beat ND, and run the table in the AAC, you have a conference title at one of their home fields (which will be insane) as a playoff game play-in. Then you follow it up the next week at half and half, in a grudge match. I want this so bad for 2024. I want to see Army or Navy being able to play three meaningful games in December this year.
  22. Yeah, it wasn't a hard read. It's the short side of the field too, so it isn't like he was covering a lot of ground to squeeze that down there either. Lastly, the ball had no zip, if you are going to hit that pass it has to be right in the numbers with enough zip to squeeze it in, even if it's just man.
  23. Yeah, it's odd that we consistently ran the same post based concepts and didn't address to open grass/the sticks on third down all night. The in/deep drag was consistently open but it is 15+ upfield, a hard throw, near impossible when you can't step up into the pocket.
  24. If you can't hit the post out of the tight bunch, you are just bringing extra guys into the box to stop the run and put more people closer to rushing the passer.
  25. Bunching in and going to 12 personnel against that squad was malpractice. Just like it was against Alabama last year. Seeing Juan Davis lead iso blocks into a nice crease against their linebackers is hilarious.
