Chelsea prepared to allow Christian Pulisic or Timo Werner to move in opposite direction while talks continue over Nathan Ake's return
Chelsea’s negotiations with Juventus over a move for Matthijs de Ligt are progressing with talks continuing regarding a return to Stamford Bridge for Nathan Ake.
As Chelsea wait to find out if Raphinha will agree to move from Leeds United in a £55million, plus add-ons, move or hold out for a switch to Barcelona, Chelsea are working hard on their other targets.
Fresh talks have taken place regarding Raheem Sterling ahead of an anticipated bid.
De Ligt is understood to be keen on the prospect of moving to Chelsea and Juventus are believed to have softened their demands in recent days, which makes the prospect of a transfer more realistic.
Chelsea are likely to have to pay more than £40m to re-sign from Manchester City.
Club also still keen on Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.
Raphinha is thought to favour a move to Barcelona, but is also prepared to join Chelsea if the Spaniards do not reach an agreement with Leeds.

Man so many links between this transfer season with Chelsea and Barca
Dave and Alonso to Barca
Christensen likely
Both teams targeting Raphinha and Dembele. Lewa mentioned for both. Not sure if Neymar to Barca has been mentioned (doubt it).
This is the latest on Dembele which makes me wonder if the Raphinha thing is some mind games with the Dembele stuff.

Guess we will see.

Such a cluster...
"Barcelona sold 10% of its TV rights for the next 25 years for 207m euros + 60m. They can end the year without being in the red, but still can't register Kessie, Christensen and even Sergi Roberto. Least of all Lewa. They need to sell more rights or sell players for that."

This sums up my feelings right now on football season.

So lots of moving parts
CB it appears Kounde is on the back burner, De Ligt the flavor of the week with discussions about bringing Ake back.
Winger Sterling is the current leader with some smoke around Dembele and maybe Neymar. Raphinha rumored to be in addition to one of those three
GK appears done
Nothing else with a ton of smoke.
Here is a picture of Conor on vacation.

No need to kick a dude when he's down. The guy is 7 months removed from a torn ACL. I'm surprised he's even running at full speed at this point.
He's also the best football player to be spawned from his mother.

Next thing I expect to hear is a laundry list of MLS players that deserve to go to Qatar before a 99% heathy Gio.
I bet Lebron would be the best non-soccer soccer player...

The MLS is in the middle of the season right now and doesn't totally suck for someone that hasn't watched a ton of high level soccer.

Agree to an extent, but I haven't seen one person suggest only watching international football.
Nor should they.
On a side note, who is your team again outside of the USMNT? Can't remember.
-
The take home up to this point though, is if you only watch International football you are like the person that only follows the Men's Olympic basketball team or god forbid someone who only follows the Cuban World Baseball Classic team and sees a very watered down version of the game. It's a great way to develop interest in the game, but not understand the game.

Ah, i remember when Southampton had to replace Sadio Mane. They went with Norwich's Nathan Redmond for £12.15 m who has since averaged 3.5 goals per season for Soton.
Good luck, Reds!
When are you going to get good players again to restock Liverpool?
