  1. Touch DNA is a lot less valuable and reliable for identifying a particular person than blood, semen, etc. A good defense attorney can make some hay out of it if it's only touch DNA.
  2. Good for them for getting out. North Texas needs to clean its house in a big way. There should be consequences for the absurd amount of racism in that area -- says me, a former resident who has to visit now and then
  3. No -- chest compressions are critical. It's the breathing into the person that they said you could hold off on somewhat (lots of people don't want to do that part) but my understanding is you really should.
  4. to me, he looks more like an evil Perry Farrell.
  5. Do they even know about this -- that is, is Fox News ignoring this or are they bragging about it? My mom had no idea about Paxton's transgender list gathering, and questioned whether that was made up... because obviously Fox etc. isn't going to showcase that shit
  6. I'm more and more struck with Sark's TinTin hairdo
  7. Wow that's not even his real name either. Actual name is Santos L. Halper
  8. have you asked about how there's anything left on earth with all the cats everywhere?
  9. And she looks real sane too. When the Nazis are on your side, you're on the wrong side. Not complicated.
  10. why would anyone have their hair like that on purpose?
  11. Not surprising he's hobnobbing with this bunch. He literally and explicitly vowed revenge against those he perceived as his political enemies, in his damned confirmation hearing. Unfit hack.
  12. For whatever it's worth (will amount to nada), that former evangelical guy who said Alito leaked Hobby Lobby testified before Congress today https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/robert-schenck-supreme-court-testimony-leak-b2241810.html
  13. at first I was like, huh? then I was like "oh yeah"
  14. He likes things that are illegitimate.
  15. uh yeah ok, what is this -- Q stuff? The only thing you got right is that churches (and not just some of them) are filled with abusers. Some are true pedos, others are just twisted opportunists who exploit whomever comes their way.
  16. what's the point of telling someone to drop their gun if the cops are going to shoot right then regardless?
  17. Wasn't blaming her for his abusive behavior. An entirely separate matter is that he's always been a batshit narcissist from what I could see, and I'm sure that would have shown itself after baby 1 at the very least to anyone in a relationship with him. Dude doesn't need to be a parent.
  18. Same deal as Earl Thomas. Sad and headed for disaster, likely due to CTE.
  19. It keeps occurring to me how mentally challenged Kim K must be to have voluntarily created four kids with this broken-brained shitheel.
  20. Makes sense that when a dude is willing to off someone and/or himself, letting him slide with a low bond and a protective order is the way to go. I wasn't aware that municipal judges set bond without the DA office's input. That's kind of fucked.
  21. I don't think there's a legislative means to tone down the rhetoric other than to build anti-discrimination protection and allow the culture to catch up. And there's no "both sides" to the hate problem. The right is very proactive in having operatives come up with culture war issues to spread, starting with wing nut groups presenting to Republican governors' associations, councils, AG's, and such that then promulgate model legislation to spread the latest outrage across the country. All the anti-trans bills and the Chris Rufo CRT crap are obvious examples. Astroturfing is not a left-wing thing. And then the right-wing Murdoch and radio universe spreads the issues to the masses so the rubes see the need for all the negative legislation. I don't believe there's an equivalent level of organization on the left, in terms of coming up with the next new champion "issue.' The left is reactive by nature -- the whole concept of Antifa exemplifies that -- because they're not the ones on the attack against marginalized groups. It's a hell of a lot easier to destroy and demonize than to solve actual problems and advance freedom without exclusion.
  22. that guy is fucked up out of his mind. The shooter can DIAF but both parents appear to be absolute psychopaths.
  23. This is all such a primitive guy thing too. Women who aren't MAGA or otherwise brainwashed are on the sidelines baffled about the obsessive focus on and fetishization of these weapons. It's just so damned juvenile. Another instance where more women in leadership would moderate shit.
  24. I was hesitant to click, based on the title. Very wholesome though. Man...... that Mineola case Brisket referenced above. Still a fucking travesty. Lives ruined, and no consequences for all the shenanigans as far as I ever heard.
