  1. no pic of the pervert dad? How interesting Every one of those kids looks like a future Ethan Crumbley, shallow gene pool and all
  2. After the 911 calls from the school were reported that day, the mom texted him "Ethan don't do it." I mean, come on, they knew beforehand he was likely planning shit like this
  3. 2 Pfizer shots in March. 2nd shot gave me some body aches and fatigue for a few hours. With the booster (Pfizer), essentially no reaction. Maybe brief fatigue. Pre-booster antibody count in September was 561. Booster on 10/8. Post-booster count is <2500.
  4. Parents are way, way worse than I thought. Holy shit. But the fact the kid was allowed to go back to class with the things that had come to light -- just wow.
  5. This insane stubbornness of keeping the filibuster is going to cost the Dems the House and Senate. Just like I predicted last year.
  6. Literally zero of any of this balancing of rights or burden conversation has taken into account that women are the only ones to bear the burden of pregnancy and the actual burden of parenting, due to being the carrier. The disparate impact hasn't even been alluded to. Just interesting to me.
  7. That's not our experience with our middle school, kids have to have special permission to leave class, use the restroom during class, and they can't go back in the cafeteria once they come out, etc., very heavy-handed. Beyond that, I don't know. Any proposed reduction in electives or teacher planning time is bullshit. The leadership certainly doesn't advocate for the district, in terms of policy or funds contributed to the state for recapture. That's frustrating AF.
  8. You must be new to this timeline. You see, "conservatives" are very, very persecuted and oppressed. You should be able to use a private business's platform they are providing, with the terms you agree to, and then violate those terms by amplifying Neo-nazi or other violent rhetoric. It's the 'Murican way.
  9. If the Court recognizes any privacy right to reproductive decisions, then it's in SCOTUS's purview to protect that right rather than throw it to the states to allow an interest in protecting the unborn to completely override that right. And I'm sure many would disagree, but I don't see what the State's compelling interest is in "protecting the unborn" before viability in a secular republic. In a non-secular one, sure...which is why this particular SCOTUS will fail to recognize that a pregnant person's right to privacy/autonomy trumps the State's interest in the pre-viable pregnancy.
  10. A constitutional right to privacy has been recognized both before and after Roe. Unless that right is no longer recognized, affecting a myriad of situations, I don't see how Roe can be overturned in whole. If that right is abrogated only with regard to abortion specifically, the justices will have to get into the weeds of the specifics of abortion in particular and they will have to show their ass on their personal opinions. I think the ones who voted to take the case are dumbasses because they voted to deligitimize the court with regard to almost any expected split.
  11. Today I'm grateful to be alive. We Cruz'd on down to Mexico to avoid my family. Took a typical snorkeling excursion that ended up with our boat sinking and us stranded in the open sea looking for rescue and my weakened, extremely seasick son looking at me and asking "are we going to die?" Maybe still worth it
  12. this cover always freaked me out....does it not look exactly like he's got a slice of pepperoni pizza wedged in his mouth?
  13. that and fetal alcohol syndrome. But the thumbs up gesture really sets me at ease, glad to see there are thumbs and that the thumbs are saying ok!
  14. No, it's not hard. Where's the conflict?? lawyer takes a loser client, and loses, both parties lose = lesson learned. Either side of the equation reflects a lawyer representing the client's interests and the interests align. You're being weird here.
  15. Directed to Anastasis Oh FFS. This is why so many of your takes are hot garbage -- so entrenched in your chosen position that you can't or won't recalibrate, or just flat out admit your take was wrong. A contingency fee means a lawyer may accept a client who otherwise might have no recourse....lawyer gets NO pay unless he gets something for the client. Lawyer works hard for no pay, bingo--wins, and both parties benefit.
  16. So you believe the law allows the use or threat of deadly force against a fellow citizen whom you believe is committing a misdemeanor?
  17. Can One Tough Grandma enter the race and further split the R vote? Or is she deceased? Someone get her 5th husband to rouse her up
  18. Pro-life Don wants unvaxxed nurses caring for extremely ill hospitalized children. Whatta guy. That's the stand-up, strong type of governor we need, eh?
  19. Regime, indeed. He and the other Trump goons are all in on helping Brazil kill what democracy they have left. Replicating the shit they're still trying to pull here. He should hang if there's any justice left https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/11/world/americas/bolsonaro-trump-brazil-election.html Steve Bannon, Mr. Trump’s former chief strategist, has said President Bolsonaro will only lose if “the machines” steal the election. Representative Mark Green, a Tennessee Republican who has pushed laws combating voter fraud, met with lawmakers in Brazil to discuss “voting integrity policies.”
  20. it's the aggressive, young incel losers' world, we're just living in it
  21. wow, just saw my friend post that some Kansas students came down to sit in their (UT) section, and one of them thought it'd be funny to pour a beer all over her 11-year-old daughter. Security was non-existent and they left at the half. She said she went berserk and is pretty sure there's video footage of her going totally apeshit.
  22. Bannon is indicted for refusing to submit to the legal process Bannon is not taken into custody and instead is trusted to submit to the legal process ...after a fun weekend bender
