  1. plus he giggles like a weird little maniac
  2. Get a load of this gaslighting horseshit https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-campaign-launches-effort-to-fight-voter-fraud/ar-AA1njOpP?cvid=6e5ee0b717714c51ae7a9ec1f5d1a1d1&ei=9 The RNC and the Trump campaign said they were preparing to deploy more than 100,000 attorneys and volunteers across the states that are expected to be competitive in the presidential rac The Republican Party and the Trump campaign said in a statement that they plan to recruit an army of poll watchers, who will monitor individual polling sites for irregularities. Attorneys, meanwhile, will be stationed at "Republican Party War Rooms" in competitive states, where they will staff an "Election Integrity Hotline" to answer calls from poll watchers and voters who have observed possible irregularities. "Having the right people to count the ballots is just as important as turning out voters on Election Day," Trump said in a statement. Maybe the press should alter that headline to something more accurate... and maybe the initiative should be called something like Fraud Guarantee
  3. helluva nice guy? This dude is a psycho abuser https://theaustinbulldog.org/candidate-lost-custody-over-abuse-2/ https://theaustinbulldog.org/zimmermans-lawyer-threatens-to-sue-the-bulldogagain/
  4. This may be a failure of imagination in light of current state skullduggery.
  5. Real question -- do Democratic candidates even run in places like that these days? I don't know but taking a look around the Canyon Lake area last month, I saw plenty of campaign signs but none saying Democrat. Railing on rurals for voting against their own interests is probably justified but what if their only choices are Lunatic and Lunatic Plus because the D's just concede, thereby perpetuating the party's cycle of hopelessness? I think I'm saying what Bozo is saying ?
  6. Walters and his goons are absolutely evil degenerates, and that superintendent lady's face got ate up by leopards
  7. TIL that I am a murderer. Pretty cool, think Imma get me one them teardrop tattoos right now
  8. ooh, how long before that is axed? It's exactly the kind of thing that would deeply outrage this state's mental midget leadership.
  9. I don't understand why every damn thing says he hurts Biden more than Trump. Make it make sense!!
  10. maybe it's an Alabama thing? And you shaved your head all through the prime hair years?
  11. Holy shit, he said a lot of other insane stuff in that speech too https://www.texastribune.org/2024/04/05/texas-supreme-court-justice-john-devine-2024-election/ "On a federal level, we’re run by a criminal enterprise. … None of you are going to escape this. And so I would implore you to get closer to the Lord. I would implore you to prepare. I would implore you to bring other people on board.” He blasted legal challenges to Texas’ abortion laws as a “mockery of God,” and invoked apocalyptic language when discussing Democrats — saying his judgeship gave him a “front-row seat to the end of the world.” And so on. Didn't realize he barely won his primary. Fuck this state, we really are doomed.
  12. Well, yes -- y'all are mansplaining and I do see some biases there. But, Mrs. Whiggins and I are just 'splaining
  13. IMO, some aspect of the women-against-women stuff is a trauma response. Just this endless cycle of "I had to suffer through something, you younger people should have to also." Bitterness, shame, resentment, etc. can be turned outward. For men, this usually occurs via violence, with women, it's more of a social shaming. I mean, on a larger and more literal scale, look at female genital mutilation. The female elders are the ones doing it to the younger generations, even though they know the pain and suffering it causes. Religion/cultural tradition plays a big part but that's not the whole psychology of it... the patriarchy infects everyone, and the cycle of abuse uses everyone as an instrument to perpetuate it.
  14. wait, what? Everything about academia has been politicized as of late, and DEI is so obviously conflated with "CRT." I remember her, an ex took her class. I had no idea that UT faculty in the RTF dep't were such cunts to her. Pathetic. She was well-liked and well-respected by her students as far as I knew.
  15. Can't wait for rfk fanbois to hear him doing some actual speaking, if they think Biden sounds feeble
  16. the fact he didn't have to enter a guilty or even nolo contendere plea to get this sweet deal makes my blood boil.
  17. who knows with lame duck Kim Ogg
  18. voting illegally 9 times while white and Republican = a fine and reprimand casting one provisional ballot while black when being unsure if you're eligible to vote and you're not = 5 years in the pen
  19. Hoodoo Gurus coming to Antone's in September. Clan of Xymox is back in June -- Elysium
  20. Ok sure, but my comment was personal to him. I have quite a bit of familiarity with the guy and he's a certain... strain... of defense attorney. The kind that quotes Shakespeare in his briefs, name-drops continually, and dances up to the edge of outright misrepresentations to the court
  21. Brian Wice, the special prosecutor who makes his living as a defense attorney -- great job, bitch
  22. you can't always get a good appointment but yes -- the "split prep" that comes with an afternoon appointment sucks. You've already been butt-purging water for hours straight and you don't get good sleep... and then in the morning, you have another half of the prep. It really, really feels like overkill. Also, kudos to the one who ate Tex Mex the day before, but damn you lucky you didn't get an F-minus on bowel prep (they grade you lol) and had to cancel... they need to see in there, enchiladas tend to block the visuals
