  1. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/07/world/europe/biden-will-not-designate-russia-a-state-sponsor-of-terrorism.html
No CR but the Biden admin has said “This designation could have unintended consequences to Ukraine and the world." which makes me think they are concerned about crude and other prices will react if the Russians are truly shut off from the world.
If the Russians are no longer able to market crude to India and China, we very quickly return to a +$110 price environment on crude oil which doesn't play well into the admins hands with gas prices and heating right before the election in Nov. (Sorry this is probably CR material but that's my take working in the commodities side of the industry)
Fair take, I feel like that should be allowed in this thread.

  2. Gonna fight Climate Change with Chinese slave labor selling products made 90+% from petroleum based products and shipping them on Diesel engine boats across the ocean.  How noble.
Perhaps read his book, "Let my Peolple Go Surfing " and celebrate one company doing quite a bit better than most instead of spewing dumb shit?

  3. I borrowed my buddies for a week and got competent at it to where I could ride super easy gravel trails and dick around. fun enough but got meh quick. And fucking up is sketchy mid 40s. I fucking hate these things when I'm mountain biking, so dusty, slow in the way and usually oblivious to others. So I also didn't want to be that dick.

Shredded my knee fucking around skating in March , so no fucking way I'm dicking with one wheels going forward. Surf, ski, snowboard will suffice. Two risky for me personally. Wear a good helmet. Maybe wrist protection, and have a board sport background if your older. They can be fun.

Technically the Navel in "Navel-gazing" is your Navel. I laughed though
I was looking at RD 's new Navel piercing, it's cute, sorry for Navel gazing.

Why comment when Lobos back and commenting on everything for better or worse

  5. Just the fact that they are bringing food to these people will make a difference.
The nuances of how that goes will be critical. Kindness goes a long way. Despite the bloodlust of a lot of posters here or those actually doing the fighting, Ukraine really needs to take the highest road possible here, if nothing else to squash anger or future squabbles with native Russian speakers. It's going to be difficult to balance justice and vengeance. Active collaboration vs being a pawn and relocating to Crimea a few years ago for an opportunity because you are a poor Russian. How is that parsed out?

Untangling this mess is going to be challenging to say the least. War Crimes, Repatriation, missing children.

  6. I'm outta rep and stressed as fuck after my daughter's school lockdown............but you just made me laugh for the first time in a few hours and I'm a man who needs his giggles.  God bless.  Plus, I quit drinking and switched to Sanka...so.......have a heart.
That's another perfect time to work through stress and learn to cope without drugs or alcohol. Gotta be there and have clear faculties should shit go down...

  7. It’s the drill team. They put out more than any other coed cohort.
Amen to that, doesn't mean they didnt get labeled erroneously. I think I dated 5 drill team ladies, never even sniffed a date with a cheer leader despite a lot of trying. Worked out in the end.

  8. I listen to the Michael Berry show (Houston 740 AM) every morning during work, when I’m free/available at my desk. She’s a weekly staple to his show.

CSB - I played HS football against MB and his Orangefield Bobcats.

    Hook’em!
Tell me you suck without telling me you suck.

Furthermore that you can fly your Micheal Berry flag freely without expecting to be questioned. Dork. Are you sure your not aggy?

  9. Just for the sake of information, Pendleton is about 40 miles north of Downtown San Diego, and the northern tip of the base is actually on the country line dividing San Diego and Orange Counties (San Clemente).  The main city serving Pendleton is Oceanside, which has become a pretty nice beach town with a population of just under 180,000 people.   When you're ready to make the trip let me know, and I can help you with hotels, restaurants, etc.  And don't be afraid to fly into SNA if the fares are cheaper.
SNA is usually cheaper and easier for that area by a big margin. We have family in Newport Beach. I am not a huge SoCa guy but I dig San Clemente and dig the surf in San O, just not on the weekends, otherwise it's pretty fucking magical. You can walk from San Clemente all the way down that gorgeous coastline and world class breaks at Trestles, past Nixons old place etc. Or post up at San Onofre state beach, freaking nice chill spot during the week. Classic So CA vibes
