  1. Last years team had 2 players in the lineup hitting over .300. This years team has 6.

Man the pitching last year though. You felt if starting pitchers had a good outing , the hitters would find enough production and we could beat anyone. We were so close vs Miss Aggie. It was a Fun, likeable team.

This year it feels like we need to score 9 to win with our erratic pitching, yet we are more often than not fully capable of doing just that against anyone. Also, fun likeable team.

2020 Could have been Lit, as the kids say.
  2. I'm sure it's been covered but a couple of quick questions for anyone that can help.  We're talking about trying to go to the Sunday night game if everything goes our way.  We haven't made any plans but are fine with driving.  What are the chances of getting tickets and a place to stay?  What is the best way to get tickets?
Buy any ticket, sort it out later. You can always resell. They are all digital and especially first weekend you can sit mostly where you want as locals come and go. You may have to move, but it's casual. I had tickets with Virginia fans last year for that game, and moved over to our fans and had a blast with both. Freaking just go.

  3. Yes it has!  When I went Texas wasnt in it.  I just simply wanted to go take it all in.  You are going to have an absolute blast.  I was in left field, and our chant was "right field sucks"
Why would you not move around?
  4. Had a room for 9000 hyatt points a night this morning but not a fucking thing under 400 now. The weather delays fucked us, but I guess I should have nutted up with a "cell phone flop".
Dude you have a 50-50 chance any given year.
  5. In, like everyone else for the meteor.

Grew up in NW Houston. Aggy actually winning anything including a meaningless end of season game vs us in a down year is not tolerable. If they actually win something important, look out. Its,fucking awful. At least Ou fans have been there. I'm sure DFW folks feel similarly with OU, except OU wins a lot more, fucking bastards.... But Aggy actually winning something of value, shivers....

  6. I used to overpack for trips and could fill a carry-on for a 3 day trip. (Yeah, makeup case and 3 pairs of platform shoes take up a lot of space).
Ever since I met my wife, she’s shown me it’s possible to pack light. We’ve been out of country since last Friday. Between the two of us and 2 under-10 kids, we’ve got a 23” and 2 20” suitcases. We’ll be the ones taking up all the overhead bin space.

I have done a week in Costa Rica with a "personal item" sized bag under the seat when I had to fly spirit. (Last minute at Xmas, holy shit it was an awful flight.) It's CR, you need a couple shirts, flip flops and some trunks.
  7. I would spend 6 months a year if I could in CR. Santa Teresa, on the southern tip of Puntarena peninsula, is almost heaven.
Fuck yeah it is, but that main street is a cluster fuck with all the quads and dirt bikes hauling ass. Not kid friendly. Caught some tasty waves nearby, great people and lots of Ex Pats including Argentines

That's inaccurate, Republicans would make sure thier kid had the best privately funded sticks, at a discount, while other kids had no sticks or, inferior sticks, or even better yet, only enough sticks for a third of the other kids to have a stick at any time while all of thier kids also had body armor in addition to plenty of sticks.

That's fair, hence the need for school vouchers and suppressing initiatives resolving inequities.

  9. https://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Uvalde-Texas-school-shooting-Salvador-Ramos-forum-17226232.php

“Individuals in online forums that routinely promulgate domestic violent extremist and conspiracy theory-related content have praised the May 2022 mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas and encouraged copycat attacks,” DHS officials wrote in a bulletin released Tuesday morning.
DHS officials explained that others have capitalized on the shooting—during which a lone gunman shot and killed 19 children and two teachers—to push conspiracy theories, including the false claim that the federal government faked the shooting to boost support for gun control measures.

    Fucking pathetic.
What is pathetic is that I read that, and was wholly unsurprised or angered. My reaction was, "of course."

  10. Well, that is sufficient "abuse" to make her statements in the op-ed literally true.  And, even if you narrow the definition of abuse to something physical, or unprovoked, then the malice (believed to be abuse) prong of the public figure doctrine probably takes care of that, and voila, no defamation.
That is, I believe, wildcat's point.
That said, I think in the grand scheme of things, the verdict is just.  They're both pretty sick fucks, apparently, and Amber is more malignantly sick than Johnny.  Juries are damned good at determining who gets the white hat and who gets the black hat, even when both of them probably deserve black hats.  They're not always great at finding absolute truth or strictly following the law.

Great take. That's about where I land on the matter. Jury by peer is inherently imperfect, as it requires humans, all we can do is try to make it as fair as possible. (Problem is, humans are in charge of correcting flaws in the system and we Are part of the problem we need to fix)
  11. BTW, for those that aren't familiar, Glamis is nothing but sand dunes, and is paradise for the off-roader.  Dune buggies and ATV's are thick as fuck there, particularly on the weekends.  It's a wild party scene, too wild for me.
Fuck yeah its a California motor head party mecca. People drop serious coins on dune quad rigs, sand cars bikes, and rvs and then party hard. Weird scene.

Sucks about the downed troops. They work the fuck out of those Ospreys on Camp Pendleton, so much so, that I could see accidents being common. It's an unfortunate effect of preparedness, but the member of incidents is concerning.
  12. I’m not even sure she’s from earth. It’s like she lightly skimmed a CliffNotes version of how to behave like a quasi-normal human with gestures and expressions…I feel like…
her facial expressions, reactions, body gestures are so exaggerated and off and don’t fit the situation. She’ll do great on Only Scat Fans…

I find it weird and sad that some many people just keep dunking on a mentally ill woman. I get it, she's a horrible person, but like so many other horrible persons, she's likely had some awful shit happen in her past that partly made her that way.

We would all recoil at a "retard joke", but let's just clown on the mentally unstable lady religitating a divorce ending a messy, unstable, unhealthy partnership for the lulz. Over and over. Yeah she's mentally ill and acts like it. But she's weird, an addict and just crazy enough to be funny without it being clearly so fucked up to be sad. What if she shit the bed then cut her self? Or was so crazy she saved 40 turds and dropped them all at once. Or covered her self in shit in the courtroom? (Settle down scat fans) Her down fall is she isn't quite crazy enough to generate any empathy. Why is that?

(Nicole you post like you have unresolved anger towards a similarly ill past partner. I hope you find healing and compassion. Or simply letting things go.)

    Hyperbole Horns in full effect.
