  1. We tend to do that to AL East teams.
  2. It's so beautiful. For generations to come when aggy fans think back on their lone CWS Finals appearance, they will be filled with rage at their own coach. LOL
  3. I texted a news article of this to my aggy neighbor. She texted back the middle finger emoji. I love this. lol
  4. Texas baseball hires Jim Schlossnagle of Texas A&M as coach, replacing David Pierce https://www.statesman.com/story/sports/college/longhorns/baseball/2024/06/25/jim-schlossnagle-hired-texas-baseball-coach-longhorns-texas-am-aggies-sec-rivals-cws-final/74203403007/
  5. I don't generally venture on over to texas ags, but now is the time to do so. Just don't have a drink in your mouth when you start reading.

    Longhorn Network

I have a feeling it's no live sports. ESPN will push all that to ESPN+ so we have to pay.
  9. Hopefully not your sister-in-law. Yes, I just checked the rule book. One aggy title = immortality. I tried to verify how many Longhorn titles = immortality, but it was undefined. I'll have to check with the author, Billy Liucci, on why that is.
  10. Please give us more of the aggy baseball team losing the CWS.
  11. In-depth article but pretty interesting. They sold me on the re-watch of the Hawks game with 10 turnovers. https://sports.yahoo.com/a-closer-look-at-michael-jordans-1988-dpoy-award-raises-questions-about-its-validity-has-lebron-james-been-chasing-a-ghost-140452567.html
  12. Thank you! 🙏
  13. I think you're right, but Schloss seems better. Maybe Vitello is better if he wins the CWS over Schloss...
  14. Now for the trifecta. 1. Pierce gone 2. aggy lose game 3 3. Schloss to Texas

    Longhorn Network

If they air games that SEC Network passes on, I'll watch. If it's just reruns of games, I'll probably skip it.
  16. Let's go Brew Crew and Rays tonight while we prep for Colorado.
  17. whew
  18. and SEA lost to MIA today.
  19. Tennessee - Do not make me live in a world where aggy has a title in a men's big 3 sport post-WW2.
  20. Orioles about to get swept for the first time in June too, baby
  21. He's 33 so say he could get $33M per year today for the next decade. That's $330M, which is a far cry from $1B.
  22. Enjoy it because it won't last long. (In 8 games, we'll be in first place.)
  23. Billion is rather excessive for one player's worth.
