  1. This is pure gold!! "We have been in a higher, more competitive football division for 12 years and we still frequently beat them in other sports, with recent back to back wins in our hockey games against them on Jan. 28 and 29." LOL Hockey? The club sport? How about all time records in NCAA sports? "Why be a crazy ex-girlfriend when we were the hotter partner to begin with?" You'll never change, aggy. We're living in the author's head.
  2. Had to google 'disconcerting signals' just now like I had to back in 2015. "This penalty is very rarely called because it's a move that players seldom attempt." Thanks, Charlie for doing something unique! https://www.rookieroad.com/football/disconcerting-acts-or-signals-penalty/
  3. Jn honor of his spelling, I'd rather live jn Texas than the others.
  4. Oklahoma deserves Texas, Alabama, Georgia every year.
  5. Ridiculous!
  6. I'm not sure these include the playoffs. Because he lost to Dallas this playoffs. He also lost to the Giants twice in the Super Bowl and it's only one loss on here. It's definitely regular season only. Looks like someone copy and pasted statmuse.com. As we see with https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/tom-brady-career-record-vs-philedelphia-eagles, TB lost a regular season game to Philly in 2015 plus we know TB lost Super Bowl LII to them. Same with Rams at https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/tom-brady-career-record-vs-los-angeles-rams. That shows 4-3, but that's missing February 3, 2019 where the Pats beat the Rams in Super Bowl LIII.
  7. Walked by Roger Clemens in the concourse about 9am. No, he didn't ask for my autograph. His loss.

    I'm loving RT this year.
  9. First reply and that's all we need! Leagues are there to make money and will set things in an attempt to get more of said money. The only caveat is don't make it so obviously that fans turn away or the government starts investigating. With the Aaron Judge example, give him easier to hit baseballs, but don't force the Astros to lose a series to advance Judge through the playoffs. 'Stros were just much better than the Yankees for meddling to be successful. It would have had to been flat out obvious rule changes/ignores for the Yanks to win the '22 ALCS.
  10. Now get me that in magnet form for the fridge!
  11. I was thinking the QB would be Jordan Young at that point, but dear Lord hopefully not in the Gator Bowl.
  12. Kinda want one more game against WVU so we don't leave the series tied 6-6. No OSU will be odd, but maybe for the best considering how OSU has had success against us over the past 13 years. Then for the love of God, please BYU.
  13. for now
  14. Stanford ain't #5 all time. These programs (plus obviously USC, UT, LSU, and ASU) have more CWS titles than Stanford. Going into CWS runner ups, CWS win percentage, and CWS appearances brings even more teams in over Stanford. Miami 4 Cal St Fullerton 4 Oregon State 3 Minnesota 3
  15. Seems like Philly is better, but I'd prefer the Chiefs to win.
  16. He's not keeping the extra $1M, or more specifically he's on an adjusted payment schedule so the overpayment amount gets recouped by LSU.
  17. Apparently, it's true. Here's what I found from a freedom of info request. Before: After:
  18. Quite different. With Jimbo, it means out of the top 25. Back the 1960s, the AP Poll only went to 20 in 1960, 1968, and 1969 and 10 in other seven years. Texas with Royal started in the top six and dropped out three times - 1960, 1965, and 1967. But you'll note, that only means out of the top 20 once and out of the top 10 twice. The 1960 squad most certainly would have been ranked had the AP Poll gone to 25 because they finished 17th in the Coaches Poll at 7-3-1. That's enough to break the three times, but the 1965 and 1967 squads also have a decent argument at finishing in the top 25. They both finished 6-4, which may translate to a modern day 8-5. You'll see the 2022 Horns are ranked #25 at 8-5 in this year's final AP Poll.
  19. While I don't want a bowl game in Austin, I am surprised there isn't one. Feels like every city has a bowl game.
  20. This will never get old.
  21. I'm going with Frogs not Dawgs.
  22. RIP Coach Leach. One of my favs who didn't coach the Horns. His ability to beat the Aggies was amazing, and of course so was his humor. Then more importantly, sounds like he was a great husband, father, and a leader of players.
  23. I'm certainly okay with his ass being fired. WTF. You can't choke people and be head coach. If convicted, Chris can continue to wear orange.
  24. So you want both in the CFP?
