So, you actually think forcing a woman to carry an essentially dead baby to term is perfectly ok as long as her health is not endangered?

    Christ on a cracker.

No. But that is a different set of facts.

What’s the wingnut play here?   So the baby isn’t viable and poses a serious health risk to the mother.  The woman already has 2 kids and white, so not their target black lady getting bunches of abortion trope.

Is this like this is someone who is bored of winning 70-3 on madden so they decided to try All Madden level?

Or is it as simple as they don’t give a fuck about women, unless they are unborn.

LOL. The hospital is engaged in shenanigans. She is perfectly entitled to the procedure. There is no legal issue here. The AG's office made very clear, especially in their fourth objection, who is to blame for this idiocy.

Weigman staying to break Shadeur Sanders’ record for number of times sacked?

Early on I thought he was better than Quinn. Based on Quinn's improvement, I would call them more or less equal now. That dude's good.

While he could improve his situation no doubt, there is value in being loyal too. Or he could just be an idoit.

I haven't seen bad play from Bush this year. Like at all. You make it sound like he's been the 2023 version of Luke Brockermeyer.

He's not our most athletic OLB/DE, but he is a solid contributor and quality depth. Guys like that are awesome because they stick around for 5 years and maintain continuity between classes. On top of being good football players.

OK. I stand corrected. I mostly was just trying to make a joke based on what I thought was a general consensus that he wasn't very good.

I just don't see how we can even recover from losing Jett Bush.

But seriously. we are upgrading our defensive talent such that we no longer have to play well trained and well conditioned walkons. This will have a positive impact to out on the field performance in future years.

We have two talented young LBs who are untested.

In a world where all you sacrifice is time and a roster spot, this entirely makes sense.

I think the issue with Nolen is that it has been said here that he'll be looking for a LOT of NIL wherever he goes.  That both is a bad look within the team, if a lazy, low-effort guy is getting paid, but also ties up funds from other priorities.

You can take a high talent risk/project, but I'm not sure you can take an expensive one.

Yeah, if it's his draft year, and we can make him a superstar, but all he wants to do is bitch about NIL money rather than being in a program where he can get disciplined, improve technique, and play in big games that put him at the top of the draft boards, then he can move along. But that is kind of internet speculation, we don't really know.

NFL money>>>>>NIL money, and it's not close.

    ...what kinds of reasons?

Well, ok, unpopular opinion here. You establish a culture for a reason. Even the players support the standard, without being told. Because they are always competing for that starting role.

Sark rotates guys constantly. If Nolen puts out little effort, he gets downgraded in the rotation. You look at the tape on Sunday, tell Nolen he took the play off, and he is getting fewer snaps next week because the other guys want it more than he does. I don't know, I am not anything like a college football coach. Does it work? Can you rehab someone from being shitty to being a performer? I look at the A&M 22 class, only one player dominates and that's Connor Weigman.

But to me, with the caveat that you only want the best of the best (of the best. I know but talent of certain kinds cannot be replaced), well passing on massive talent because they are a risk reminds me too much of the late Mack Brown era. Talent wins championships. We play Georgia, OU, and Alabama next year. I mean, damn. It's also worth considering that if we don't take him, we play against him.

All of that said, if experience shows it's not likely to work, then fuck him.

  8. This is why I so strongly disagree when people say the US is an empire. We could absolutely go down there and own the place. We could demand $10 BOE royalties, in exchange for protection. But we don't do that. Now, if things keep going this way, then we will need to do exactly that. But for now we are the worst "empire" in the history of empires.

If we decide to start flexing our muscle for the purpose of enriching our country and furthering our self-interest, we are doing the opposite now, life would be a lot better here in America.
