  1. Ours as well. 3 weeks. No cases.
  2. He issued a correction/clarification yesterday. I don't have the tweet handy but it's out there and lessens the implications of what he implied.
  3. To my understanding from a Dr and also a murse who both work in DFW hospitals, is that they do count as covid. Once they test positive, even if asymptomatic, they have to be treated like the other covid patients in case they are contagious (since the science on that isn't settled). Who knows if that's true all over TX or in other states.
  4. " For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death." Isn't that what the tweet was saying?
  5. I kid. I kid. I would have quit long ago.
  6. My kids have been in in person school for 2 weeks. So far no cases for staff or students. They are masked up while inside and were able to add a few teachers to allow for smaller classes. Also, a small private school so no comparison to the big publics. But the kids are the happiest they've been since March and I'm not dead yet. Great success.
  7. I will say that the story has taken a depressing turn since you can opened the RV. I'd have given up and gone home by now.
  8. So did it shove the racism angle down the throat or was it more backgroundy subtext?
  9. Both my kids played lacrosse all summer and also did strength and conditioning with their school. One volunteer coach got it early in the summer but there were no follow-on cases. That was the only issue. All the coaches were like you described - super vigilant. Also found it encouraging that of all the 10 or so people that I know that have gotten it, no one else in their families have come down with it.
  10. Man, that's a hard-lived 46.
  11. Probably tried to get some of that $1m and went to the cops when they couldn't.
  12. So the content of the video is food related, I thought the video itself was interesting from a covid standpoint. Filmed in London in the last 2 weeks. Pretty much zero masks or social distancing even from the random people walking in the background. Is there an English version of 'Muh freedom'?
  13. I wasn't even going to try to explain. Bravo.
  14. Probably camps as several of them have shut down because counselors/campers tested positive. We have a friend whose son got it at Sky Ranch a few weeks ago. He had a runny nose and sore throat. The counselor had a headache as his symptoms. Also, neither parent nor 2 siblings got it from the kid in the 2+ weeks since he's been home.
  15. That's what you're mom gets.
  16. There was a pretty cool youtube on the making of that episode. Probably linked in the Clone Wars thread
