  1. Sorry, radio personality expert. He speaks clearly, confidently, and doesn't get tongue tied = smooth when compared to Hardge. Quit acting like some radio elitist. It's fukin radio lol. @Deej And yea agreed Hardge does seem to try too hard and he wants to be better. Teamed w/Rod might help him. Gotta start somewhere. (Don't tell the elitist in this thread)
  2. I wana love the guy but he can't speak smoothly...just doesn't flow right. And when he is next to Rod it's just magnifies it even more bc Rod is smooth. Hardge also stutters through some of his live commercials also...he was killing me when Rod was on vacation.
  3. I know everyone likes to know cook plans so I will share mine, since I always have a different scenario as far as when to serve, etc...this time was precook and getting to Austin: Thursday night - Smoked both 14 lbers for 14 hrs w/ post oak. Friday afternoon - Pulled from pit, wrap in foil, put in pan, and into the oven at 250deg. Briskets were at 165-170. I actually went to a dr appt down the road for 2 hours, and monitored temps on Weber connect app. They were both ready about 6 pm. Opened foil and let them cool a little on counter to stop cooking. Wrapped again, put into Yeti cooler, load into truck, drive Katy to Austin at 7pm. Unloaded in Austin, let briskets cool a little more, and then put into fridge at midnight. Saturday AM - Put them in the oven at 275degs to warm up while still wrapped for about 1 hr until internal temps 165. Wrap again, load in yeti, head to tailgate, setup brisket station. Tried not to cry when Ewers got hit and have flashbacks of Colt. Display my meat, slice up, serve, meat sweats. Fuck Bama still. I always want to serve it fresh fresh same day, but brisket is resilient if you store it and wrap it right. And you can serve it days later and tastes damn good.
  4. My "Fuck Bama" Briskets went hard last weekend. Made some brisket tacos last night. I swear brisket leftovers always ages well when properly sealed and refrigerated.
  5. Ended up on ep 7 somehow over the past few days. Still love all the throwbacks and some comedy...the show has been consistent. At least it isn't just about the kids fighting and all valley like last season. Chozen has definitely aged the most, I mean it looks like him still.....but hard to believe it's the cocky original character lol. He is an awesome addition. Kreese was a great villain, but Silver is excellent at it. F that guy.
  6. "I don't care I still want my money back" at pharmacy lol
  7. I was really hoping mid episode they would time jump forward. I don't need to see anymore gossip girl, teenage drama. This is like a soap opera with the whole heir thing.
  8. Correct. I am sure there are options out there, just a last second thing to go to the tailgate so I scrambled yesterday for wood. B&B is usually my go to though when it was cheaper.
  9. Got two 15 pounders on the pit to take to Austin for a tailgate. Apparently there is some big game tmrw. Fuck wood prices though. This brand and exact bag used to cost me $15. I paid $23 yesterday. I need to plant my own tree. At least prime was still "low" at $4.29 at Costco.
  10. Cmon. All those cut scenes, trailers, suspense of some mysterious guy. And supposedly their armies have been fighting for years. We never get to see him fight or maybe speak? That's a cheap way out. Yes it's cool the way he killed him.
  11. Wtf. All that hype of that crab fucker and he gets beat offscreen? Offscreen?! Whole episode was whiny bullshit about heir to throne. I guess some are amazed by the little battle? I guess I need to know the people fighting...only knew Corlys ad Daemon. Burning people gets old...rather see hand to hand combat. Just jump forward already and split the house. I don't need another episode of Rhynera at this same age. I get it. She isn't happy.
  12. Wth Ewers out already? That's so weak. Dude needs as many reps as he can for next week. Score 60+ idgaf.
  13. Surprised the Trey blog was only a few minutes. I was expecting him to go like 20mins. He kept it short and didn't elaborate much. Which tells me it probably didn't go well....he doesn't seem like a guy who would leave quietly. If you don't get a farewell episode or week long tribute....then it went down ugly lol.
  14. Haven't listened. Not a follower. But curious.
  15. As much as I love the Horn over the years….it’s gone downhill since BK left. Then Kevin Dunn left who was a big sports stats guy. Trey/Chad gave nothing to sports…maybe 20%. I do like their non-sports conversations now and then, because I don’t want to listen to nonstop sports…it’s good to mix in personal life or pop culture stuff imo. But it’s gotten to be too much. Also put me in the camp of dgaf high school sports. Snupe has his flex show. Zay is cool and has an after hours show sometimes also. Talent is drying up.
  16. Purchased it over the wknd...watched it for the now 4th time it holds up well. 3x in theaters (watched with friend, wife, dad).
  17. lol. For years I couldn't tell the difference between Chad and Kevin Dunn. Trey has the douchey whiny tone....so I eventually could zero in on his voice quick. Still no update on what happened?
  18. Yup, it was pretty bad ass. Otto talks a lot of shit, and his crew doesn't really seem to back him. Of course they HAVE to do what he says, but the looks on their faces was like meh. Wish there would have been a little bit of fighting on that bridge. (Also fuck that long ass walk to get to the Castle. Dragons flexing was great.
  19. LOL same. we just sat down with our chinese food....quick recap last episode, ok.....cool intro with music, sweet.....and flesh eating crabs. All Stop on eating noodles.
  20. Lol seriously I thought it was just me. Ask. Answer. Ask. Answer. If he tried to causally mix in a joke it never landed right and sounded robotish. I never understood why he would pound his chest for his interviewing skills. I wana like Mike bc his baseball background. But I can't. He just seems like Rod's older uncle that he lets hang out on the set. But I love Rod. Dude puts in his work. Has good analogies, some funny and some serious. Even his jokes about day to day life shit cracks me up. Relatable.
  21. Yea. I know. Forgot to put #joke I guess. Wish they would just tell us what happened. Trey is a douche but he was our douche.
  22. Came here also to see what's up. Horn listener for years. Caught part of Chad talking about it few mins ago. He was doing his bit about how he makes things die or end if you are around him. Maybe that's what he meant by if you listen to the show then you know. Hopefully traded Mike and Trey for BK back. Throw in Snoop also.
  23. I liked it a lot. As much as I dreaded going back into the Westeros world.....it is nice to have a high caliber (so far) show back on. I hope they introduce some bad ass characters....Daemon and his face annoy me. Very Elfish... Only thing that GoT will have is way more storylines with all the Houses the show covered. Hope I don't get bored of a Targaryen civil war. Good recap with easter eggs and comparison of the landscape in HOTD vs GoT. 20min mark they show the shot where king carries the dagger (cat's paw valeryian thing) that eventually makes it's way to Arya to well...you know. Also it mentioned that there is a myth that the throne will cut whomever is not fit.
  24. Don't fuck with the Hand of the King
  25. Gorgeous. I never thought I would be into them, but lately they are growing on me. I want a matte green dial model I saw online...."verde milatire"....of course it's a limited edition of like 500.
