  1. Maybe he will get stuck in 2020 forever, like Groundhog Year.
  2. I am 100% sure they would have liked to, but with all the recounts and scrutiny, I do not see how some evidence would not come up. And absolutely nothing has come up.
  3. Yeah, iirc, the Texas force pretty much immediately was captured when they encountered any Mexican forces, and they all got to enjoy a forced march from Santa Fe to Mexico City. Which does not sound entirely like a good time to me.
  4. It is the responsibility of the Senate to convict upon impeachment. It is the responsibility of the people to select Senators who are not treasonous. The people have failed.
  5. And renaming the military bases that are still named for Confederates. (That is the main reason DJT will try to veto this.)
  6. 'Air Force One' is really whatever aircraft the President is on. So if DJT is flying on AF1 at noon (or whenever the oath is given), then at that moment, it is no longer AF1, and is just a very expensive specialized 747. We probably do have two, but don't forget, that we will need to find and remove all the bugs that the Russians have stuck inside it.
  7. Until Biden's swearing in, there is nothing to keep DJT from being in the air in AF1. There is also nothing that would stop President Biden, in the next second after taking the oath, from ordering AF1 to immediately land and disgorge its refuse.
  8. Don't football the futbol forum damnit...
  9. Yup. Same sculptor who made the alligator sculpture in El Paso. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_Jiménez_(sculptor)
  10. What about Seattle hockey fans?? Ever think about them??
  11. It ought to be with some discretion. I can see most ex-Presidents being allowed to see some sensitive information. With the same discretion, Trump ought to see some drawings in orange crayon, which he would completely believe to be real. It is not like he has been reading any briefs so far.
  12. Avatar checks out ok.
  13. Yeah, it has nothing to do with Q or the election. Except that the new Seattle team, if they want to line their pockets, are selling these to morons as fast as they can.
  14. It is obvious that Trump expected his judicial appointees to 'do him a favor' in return for appointing them, just like a mob boss would. I have been very happy to see that things do not actually work this way!
  15. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/nov/25/diego-maradona-dies-one-of-greatest-footballers-of-all-time-argentina-world-cup-1986 Reported by The Guardian now.
  16. I did not have any professors of physics or astronomy that said that nuclear weapons did not exist, the moon landings were faked, or that the moon really glows red hot at 700 C. But then I did go to UT.
  17. Ok, I see that is Cato the Censor, and more research shows this is the Elder. But the Younger resisted Julius Caesar, so is that the right reference? This forum takes a lot of studying sometimes...
  18. I am confused about this reference. I have not caught up yet on the Classical Roman history that I need to understand the surl. The background readings for this place can be a bit much sometimes. Though I did learn a new word 'laches' which I had never heard of before yesterday, so I guess I am getting a little law learning done on these threads...
  19. Yep, it is an awesome flag, which I have liked since long before MAGA / TeaParty / etc.
  20. Uh, Trump will win the Republican nomination by a landslide. Whether he is in prison or not. (Maybe even more-so if he is in prison.) Of course this is indeed a grift, but if he decides to run, and stays alive, he WILL be the Republican candidate in 2024. And the whole time, the ENTIRE content of the Republican party platform will be Trump. Sorry. I also wish that he would go away, but that is not happening.
  21. What are their policies for candidates for high office? Trump will surely run again, and probably will announce right away to get the grift started, so he will be a official candidate. And he will likely win the Republican nomination overwhelmingly. That will be true whether or not he is in prison. Is that enough to still get special treatment by Twitter?
  22. Probably zero. It would launch out into space, then the warheads would turn around and guide themselves right back to the launch point. That is how North Korea has been testing its large range missiles: Fire them up high, testing and demonstrating the ability to go far, then come down close to home so it looks like a 'short range' test.
  23. Its probably AP that they don't want to embarrass. The call for AZ will probably be right but I would not make it even yet.
  24. And for this reason I am completely fine with carefully counting these separately.
