  1. Look,Sith horn, why don’t you fuck off back to your pet tarantulas and/or snakes? I wasn’t responding to your mom’s basement ass in the first place.
  2. “I don’t need to prove it”…so clearly JAG who doesn’t know Jack shit just like the rest of us. QBs get replaced mid-season all the time if they’re ineffective. If Arch was showing he was going to be more effective than Ewers at getting Texas to the CFP and national championship, he would be QB1.
  3. Remember when people were digging for their pitchforks for John Chiles over Colt, or VY to WR? Arch didn’t do shit against Georgia and he hasn’t done anything in practice to displace Ewers. We’re still 9-1 after losing the RB many considered RB2 or RB1-b with that little bitch at Okie Lite, and literally every team who plays us knows we don’t have RBs that can consistently keep the secondary honest with Baxter rehabbing his knee…so they’re often in deep thirds (which you don’t see from your couch) because they know if they let Texas go deep, they’ll be playing from behind against the Texas D.
  4. And no one else will, either. This thread is Stupid Shit Central.
  5. Hey...remember when the little bitches on this thread threw perfect TD passes for the Horns in any game, much less a game we cakewalked through?
  6. We were down 6 to Florida with 1 second to go in the game when Ewers doesn't throw a perfect pass to Moore in the endzone that hit his hands but he didn't catch but could have caught if it had been perfect. That's how you dumb motherfuckers are acting.
  7. You shouldn't. He posts like a guero in Mexico who just drank the water shits.
  8. I hate all of you. If this weren't my alma mater, I would wish Garrett Gilbert on you all again.
  9. Brent Venables invented the online transaction convenience fee.
  10. This. Not just two Thorpe Award winners, but the starting four went 7th, 19th, 20th, and 48th in the next two NFL drafts, while another was drafted in the 5th round and became a starter for the 49ers, and two others signed UDFA contracts. That was maybe the second-most stacked secondary in the history of college football.
  11. Is this where we talk about Arch to WR?
  12. Holy shit. I'd completely forgotten about Corey "Butt" Pullig.
  13. He got drafted in the 10th? Or was going to be drafted in the 10th and didn't sign so he could return? And then didn't get drafted when he exhausted his eligibility? There weren't a whole lot of pitchers who threw in the mid-90s with control more than 30 years ago. Pitchers who could throw in the high 80s with consistent control were getting drafted back then. I'm not saying I don't believe you. I'm only saying that throwing in the 90s was a relative rarity then. Now, not so much.
  14. When you were in high school you knew a guy who could throw a mid-90s fastball and who could consistently hit the zone but who didn't get drafted in high school or college? Was he a crackhead? Did he go straight to the state pen? What kept him out of the league? Because it had to be something else. It wasn't that long ago that only about 10% of all MLB fastballs reached the mid-90s. Even last year only about 1 out of every 4 fastballs hit the mid-90s. Throwing in the 90s is pretty fucking rare. I mean, really, dwell on those numbers and ask yourself if you're you sure you didn't know a guy who threw in the low- to mid-80s with control. Back on topic--I know it was Elon, but Maalik looked pretty good. I've got to wonder if some of those overthrows were the result of having to throw to a WR group whose fastest is slower than Texas's slowest.
  15. I miss that era of football so much. Texas versus tOSU I. Texas versus USC. Texas versus Tech in 2008. Texas versus tOSU III. The Big XII was the best conference on the planet. It wasn't just exciting to watch Texas play, every weekend there were always two or three, and sometimes four other conference or conference-related games with national implications even into November. Even the teams that were mid by conference standards were still pretty special, especially in 2008. And the bottom dwellers were pretty much perennially aggy, bible aggy, and little iowa. A lot of what was special about that era was because of Colt Fuckin' McCoy.
