  1. It saddens me not only that there are so many stupid people...but that they choose to display their stupidity so publicly. Quinn is QB1. He's a RS-Soph returning as the Heisman frontrunner who had a season stat line of 272 of 394 for 69.0%, 3,479 yards, an 8.8 ypc, with 22 TD against 6 INT and a 158.6 passer rating, but, more importantly, a 12-1 regular season with a Big 12 championship and 0:01 and one misread pass away from playing for a national championship in a game where the other team had a nearly perfect outing until the very end of the 4th quarter. If you want Arch over Quinn for next season right now, you probably still think John Chiles should starts and VY should be moved to WR. Kindly go fuck your own faces so you can stop the noise pollution coming from your own mouths but, in any event, pretty please with sugar on top, shut the fuck up.
  2. Is this the thread where we discuss moving VY to WR?
  3. They misspelled "county."
  4. It was an NCAA rule change in August last year that allowed this. The year before he wouldn't have been able to. It's not universities that make the exception. As long as registration was still open (it was) and he was rostered on a NCG team (he was), he could enter the portal and transfer.
  5. Mitchell received "reasonable accommodations" for being rostered on a NCG participant. And WR isn't the same as QB. He entered the portal 9 days after the game and committed to Texas two days later.
  6. In 2022, the NCAA not only extended the transfer period and based it on the CFP selection date, but also passed a rule that "reasonable accommodations" would be made for players on teams participating in the national championship game. Not only does he have extra time per se based on last year's rule change, if Texas makes it to the NCG he gets a reasonable accommodation to transfer if he wants. The simple part is that he will be choosing from what's left if he stays for the CFP, so he needs to take his visits while he can and choose while there are still a bunch of teams who still want QBs.
  7. Probably because the teams who are after instant help at QB don't want to wait to see who he'll choose after CFP. They want to know who they have so they can recruit the rest of their needs on offense. I don't blame him. The schools that need QBs are going to get them right now. Four of the top 10 QBs in the portal have already transferred/committed. No. CFP entrants have extra time. It's 100% because he wants to be in the early group and choose his new school rather than be limited to what's left.
  8. 17 straight legit pull-ups of 123 pounds at 5'6" is a lot different than 17 straight legit pull-ups of 235 pounds at 6'5".
  9. That looked equally as appropriate.
  10. But you said I wouldn't need to keep all the receipts... I mean, come on, man.
  11. Or he could just spend a lot of time making shitty predictions about this season and our head coach. Glass houses, dude.
  12. get a brain! moran
  13. You're all missing the Goddamned point with this Simms-Applewhite-Mock-Nordgren bullshit, and you should all shut the fuck up. Instead, can we talk about those stupid Jeff Davis commercials with Ewers? Who's advising this kid? Because they're making him look like he should be wearing a plaid suit and selling used cars by the airport with no credit check.
  14. The same Tuberville that lost to Vanderbilt and 3-9 UConn?
  15. I agree with everything you said, except 'fuck him this weekend.' Fuck him for all times.
  16. This was one the best things I've ever seen in Texas football in my entire life. Top 20. I had to watch it a few times.
  17. Man...between that and the way he was blinking, I was scared something else was going on.
  18. TWELVE WIN STEVE
  19. The boos are FUCKING HILARIOUS!!! EAT A DICK, BERT.
  20. Quinn Ewers, you fucking king.
  21. I prefer to remember that particular slimy fucker as Buck Compton from Band of Brothers.
  22. No fucking shit? His last year, you say? Did he also do that as a sophomore? Or even as a junior? How about 'not even within the same galaxy' and 'no not even in the same zip code' respectively? Where Cook ends up and where he is next year are two different things. DevDuv barely broke a hundred yards for the season as sophomore and was 500ish and 4 TD as a junior. A worst, Cook could end up as good as DevDuv, who had an amazing senior year. Cook's ceiling is incredible. But next year is his second year. I sure as shit hope he catches a 100 for 1400 next year. I'll be ecstatic with 40 for 500 and 5 TD. Go back to the fucking igloo, man.
