  1. Title IX is federal law. I’m sure once they are done the NCAA will examine the public records and promptly shut down the Toledo athletic program.
  2. He was off campus so no laws were broken, gun was his, wasn’t carried on his person in the vehicle, blah blah blah. His statement to the police that he carried it for protection from the locals had me scratching my head though. We’re bad fans even when we’re winning, don’t think we’re quite that bad though.
  3. My guess is that it’s even odds of him getting fired. He won’t resign because the leaves too much potential $ on the table. Even if it’s in his contract that he gets nothing if fired with cause, he could still tie OSU up in court for decades. I think if he goes it’s a ‘here’s some money, go away’ type deal. If he stays, game day signs will be interesting for sure. His recruiting would have to take a hit, just send out links to the O’Keefe hit piece to parents and links to all the negative press.
  4. The staff at 11 warriors is comprised of 10 full size men and two midgets?
  5. Good point, but don’t you dare jaywalk or leave your tailgating spot with an open container. Where do you think ‘don’t tase me bro’ came from. Yup. Right here. They come out in force for home games. Truth on the snipers.
  6. The Tebow effect was very real here in Gainesville. The stories about him really overshadowed the arrests within the program. I’ll admit, some of the 31 arrests were really silly (barking at a police dog), but there were some pretty serious ones involving violence. His punishments were typically handled internally, but they were pretty varied in severity and it was definitely less severe on the players that were part of his circle of trust. We all heard of the locker room issues and player favoritism, even though Urban kept a pretty tight lid on information getting out. As long as he was winning, we just wrote it off as part of running a successful program. It wasn’t until he left we learned how broken the locker room was. I’m not sure if the NCs were worth the damage he left behind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. My wife brings home stuff work that they are throwing away. Totes that are too small to be of any use, countless disposable chaffing dishes with half used cans of fuel from catered lunches, a case of expired teddy grahams (no one here eats them, we’re not 4 years old). I let it sit in the garage for a week then toss it in the trash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. We have the same wife I think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Had a guy who basically went into his office, closed the door, and spent the rest of the day downloading porn and trying to hook up via chat with women telling them his wife had died (didn’t) and other shady shit. This was years ago, he was bypassing our proxies using AOL for broadband for his connection. I only caught him because he was killing the offices bandwidth. That was a lot of fun explaining/showing what he was doing to an elderly HR person. He kept his job (smh). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. I’m a IT guy so work on a PC for work, ever since I got my iPad, I hardly ever use my personal laptop. If you’ve already on iPhones, it will be a super easy transition for the both of you. It won’t be long until you wonder why you waited so long to get one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. I’m afraid this is one of those things that everyone does and nothing will be done about it until something tragic happens as a result of it. Individual emails don’t have to have security classification to be potentially dangerous. Let’s say she had three separate emails on her server-one stating the President will be in NYC on a certain date, another says he arrives at a certain time, and another that he’s traveling by train. None of these individual emails would necessarily be considered classified, but possession of all three pieces of intel would be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Short of hiring a hit man, how would they have gotten rid of him? He was google legal savvy, which the judge commented on. I think in the parents situation, they did what was the most legally expedient thing to do once dipshit said he wasn’t leaving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I bet they broached the subject of him leaving verbally well before February. Written notices are key for an eviction, family member or not. They tried to do their part in a painfully slow and shitty way ($1100?). Either way, they are protected from further lawsuits from this kid. If they had forcibly removed him, this little piece of crap could have tied them up with legal fees for decades. Tl;dr. My kids already know this is not an option Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. I have to admit I’ve faked being sick to be left the hell alone for a day. Wife’s a nurse, she sleeps on the couch when I do this ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. While I’m not against the idea, I’m highly skeptical of the numbers. I’m sure they are using the lower cost of installation ranges and putting that up against the higher expected amount of savings ranges. I’m sure they aren’t quite including maintenance and repair costs over the life of the solar system either (panel replacement/repairs, battery replacements if batteries are part of the system). Additional costs associated with having the panels removed/replaced when it’s time for a new roof, etc. If I believed I could get $80/mo savings by investing 10k (or even more) by putting in solar, I’d be looking into it. I just think the numbers won’t be quite as impressive in the real world that they are providing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
