Yeah healthcare is easier. Because I still own the actual entity then the money flows up to PE partners. Thats only way they can do medical practices in many states.
So to this day they’ve never once told us what to do. We also always beat budget and make a lot of cash on good outcomes. Decreased return to hospital etc. Zero expensive procedures and what not.
So yeah, it can be done. But you have to have a spine. Many of these docs are POS themselves, then hide behind ‘oh we are PE backed, I’m helpless’ when they get called out.
