  1. How does one go about finding that card??
  2. No. But I imagine grabbing someone by their throat while they barely even fight back is not how it’d go down.
  3. Shit. I’m such an idiot for not remembering one post on a page I posted on a week before covid shutdown the world. I get it, I’m sure the food is good. It’s not something I’d ever pay for but I’m sure others would. And maybe a restaurant here getting Michelin recognized will be good for the whole food scene in town we were rich down there
  4. That was the least realistic strangulation I think I’ve ever seen
  5. PSJA beats Harlingen 55-28. We were down 35-14 at halftime. Our senior QB, who is easily one of the worst QBs I’ve ever seen get extended play for us, came out in the 2nd half and just said fuck it. Every other pass was either a 70 yard touchdown or an interception. He brought it back to a 35-28 game before it got away. I actually gained respect for him tonight. PSJA has two really good receivers and a great QB in Myles Lopez. I think he threw for 450 yards tonight. And he’s not just valley good, he’s 6’3 and holds an FBS offer from Central Michigan. Wil be interested to see what they can do against Steele next week.
  6. Zone coverage, select the “sticks” adjustment for your secondary during the pre-play. Has helped me stop that fuckery a lot. Just won my 4th straight title. The demographics of recruits in this game are hilarious. My senior white cornerback tied Nathan Vasher’s career INT record at 17. My 2 starting safeties were Enrique Avila and Josh Vasquez (I do kind of seek out the hispanic players but still). I miss how players would gain weight between seasons in NCAA 14 as they developed. I will now go in and add 5-10 lbs to a lot of the players before the season starts. Wish the game was more immersive.
  7. I just learned that Cher’s real name is Cherilyn Sarkisian. Wonder if she’s related to Steve
  8. They were the god awful team when he got there. They won 1 game two seasons ago.
  9. And everyone talks about the “evil, greedy” Yankees, yet we have agreed to only charge the Rays $15 million to rent the Tampa stadium. That’s under $200k a game, which is fucking nothing.
  10. I hope Godzilla destroys LA next then
  11. Ruth’s Chris’ is always good, so is Longhorn steakhouse and Texas Roadhouse. Perrys at la cantera is about equally as swanky as Bohanons and very good too. But yeah they are all 2nd place to bohanons imo.
  12. If I was a regular person moving from Japan, yes I’d probably prefer living in a place like Cali or Hawaii. But these are superstar athletes. They don’t interact with everyday people. Ichiro and Matsui loved playing in NY, and I assume they loved living there too.
  13. Pujol had a daily menu, and I believe we had 7 courses. It wasnt just a tasting menu, it was probably the best eating experience I’ve ever had. I just can’t imagine shelling out that kind of money for San Antonio food in Southtown. And I read that Mixtli opened in 2021, not sure where you’re getting a decade from.
  14. I bet 99% of San Antonians don’t know it exists either. Reading about it, it looks like it’s only 3 years old and costs $150(!) for a “ticket” to eat there. I don’t know who the fuck would eat somewhere like that here. I’ve eaten at Pujol in Mexico City, so I know fine dining. I imagine there’s similar places in NYC and LA. SA is like none of those places.
  15. Mad Macks on the southside is my fave burger in town. Ah yes, a “this is expensive so that means it’s good” person. Glad you’ve revealed yourself.
  16. Finale was stupid. Only cool thing about it was the hangar scene when Oz smirks at Sofia
  17. Roosevelt freshman team finished undefeated this year and won the district. That hadn’t happened in well over a decade probably. There may be hope for northeast side football yet.
  18. Did people really not know that even the flu can kill young, healthy people? It’s not super common but it happens probably a few hundred times a year in the US alone. It’s always been that way.
  19. The dodgers Japanese pipeline is such bullshit. Is there even much of a flight time difference to Japan from non-California cities? It’s on the other side of the world. I don’t get why they’re all so fixated on playing on the West Coast
  20. I notice his (by 5 star standards) pedestrian numbers. But from highlights his QBs look like a far step down from Ernst last year and the whole defense just keys in on him every play.
  21. I’m going to try to watch Alamo Heights at some point in the playoffs, looks like they will win 2 games before running into the Corpus Christi Miller buzzsaw. I can finally provide my scouting report on Terry, stat sheets don’t tell you everything.
  22. How many third string transfer receivers are the source of significant social media discussion? Exactly one. Tweeting that picture was a smart move exposure-wise
  23. Some place called Mixtli got a Michelin star. I’d never head about it in my life until I saw the list.
  24. This kid is smarter than all the posters on this thread combined. He knows how to push buttons and how to market himself, and knows how true the “there’s no such thing as bad press” mantra is. Everyone is talking about him now and he can leverage that for more NIL
