  1. Ohtani let all that greatest ever talk get to his head. 2 games of basically nothing in a row.
  2. I’ve had conflicted feelings on him. We aren’t represented much in football and I’ll almost always root for us to succeed on the football field (we’re plenty represented in other sports like baseball, if you aren’t on a team I like you can get fucked). It felt dirty cheering on Joaquin Iglesias and Zack Sanchez at OU but I would do it. Pavia is basically an exception. He isn’t really all that talented at anything but evading the rush and breaking tackles. Add in the piss incident, the fake Christian persona, the lawsuit for another season of eligibility, and live-streaming after Theo Von fucked his mom, he’s just an embarrassment more than anything. It takes a lot for me to not root for a homie playing football but Pavia pulled it off.
  3. Coding never made sense to me as a career. That always seemed like something a computer would be really good at. Sidenote, it’s sad to know that in the future the only “secure” jobs for humans will be backbreaking manual labor jobs. And they won’t even pay well because the market will become flooded with those workers.
  4. Yeah I never watched Monster either
  5. Checking on on this… how is kinne doing now that those UIW players he inherited and then got to transfer are gone?
  6. It was, but per capita is generally a stupid measurement for this kind of thing. Texas, Cali, Georgia and Florida are all much better pools of talent. Florida has 5 five-star recruits in the 2026 cycle (4 excluding the IMG guy). Louisiana has 1.
  7. Yes and yes. Probably 2 of the stupidest questions I’ve seen asked in a long time, and you pulled them off back to back.
  8. “Come watch this movie where we make Sydney Sweeney unattractive”. And hollywood wonders why movies are dying
  9. You know he wasn’t even the best hitter this season right?
  10. I’m a well known supporter of my people but Pavia always rubbed me the wrong way. Give me Joey Aguilar all day over him. Fernando Mendoza too even though he’s cuban.
  11. Lol at everyone acting like I said the game should start with a swing off and be done in 5 minutes. I said after the 12th. How many games go longer than that anyway? 2%? It would be rare and extremely exciting, and save bullpens.
  12. I’m in favor of a swing-off after the 12th. It’s wildly popular with the Bananas and Manfred has brought it up on some podcasts. Soccer has it right with PKs, there’s almost no comparable amount of stress or intensity in sports. This would give us the baseball version of that. Instead we get viewership numbers tanking inning by inning last night and 2 completely fucked pitching staffs the rest of the series.
  13. So glad we got rid of this loser and replaced him with our super elite receivers. Our secondary shut him down all night too, he didn’t even score 3 touchdowns against us.
  14. A&M has a significantly better team and coaching staff than LSU this year.
  15. I like him because he’s a homie but his stats and play are honestly extremely unimpressive.
  16. That score actually helps our chances, took barely any time off the clock
  17. They won it all 17 years ago and have played in several SEC title games since. Plus they have a fuckton more money than miss
  18. What a worthless addition Moseley turned out to be
  19. It’s starting to look like filling an SEC team with soft ass West Coast players was a stupid idea
  20. Mateer sucks
  21. This Chambliss dude seems massively overrated
  22. How does that Lopez kid look at RB for you guys? You was a legend in the San Marcos middle school football scene before he was recruited happened to move to Westlake for HS. Was thinking of putting him on my Helo homie watchlist next year.
  23. I’ve driven through Mississippi a couple of times, besides that I know nothing of it. As for why Miss State exists I imagine that state needed a school for all the rednecks and sharecropper/backwoods people to separate them from the plantation family old money kids at Ole Miss.
  24. I was pretty shocked to hear Al Sharpton actually give a great message to the son during his sermon, on why he shouldn’t feel guilty about the murder.
