  1. Could you list out these Republican/right shifts sticking strictly to policy issues?
  2. I rarely post on here (other than the Food & Travel board) because if I offer any kind of opinion or statement about politics, I tend to get told to go fuck myself, stupid aggy, rascist, fascist, etc... Hence, I lurk. I have, though, noticed a huge leftward shift of many of the posters that seemed to be on the center right of the political scale. It's been interesting. Take my view as you will....YMMV
  3. Technically, it's a mixture...
  4. After perusing this thread, I only have one comment... It needs a LOT more tits and a LOT more guns to live up to the thread title. I was quite disappointed.
  5. Perhaps I should have clarified. N95 without a valve is ok...n95 WITH a valve is not.
  6. Many airlines will nix that N95. And gaiters, too. Don't be looking for reason here. This is a conglomeration of different organizations, employees, and people that really have no fucking idea what the rules are..
  7. Those are counties, not districts?
  8. I don't have anything to add other than I've been staring at your avatar for 3 min and wanted to thank you...
  9. Oh god...I HATED their chile rellenos...I tried them a couple times just to be sure and I could not stand them. Fast forward to a few years after A&M when I was first went to work out at WSMR and our group went out to eat at Chope's the first night. (As the new guy I thought they were fucking with me about the egg on top, but since they all ordered it, too. Thank god I did). But, they all said to get a chile relleno on they side. Based on my Pancho's experience I was horrified, but since it was paid for (we were on per diem for the trip) I figured WTF... Changed my entire view on CR. Got them with EVERY meal after that. Never tried the Pancho's CR again, though. Didn't want to ruin it for me again. IIRC it was the batter they used.
  10. I usually buy 500 mile upgrades with my reimbursement so I always have some in my bank - can't get that free upgrade if they're not there at boarding time.
  11. Ryan's Steakhouse I strongly recommend eating dinner at Ryan's Steak House. They have, by far, the nicest management staff of any restaurant in which I have eaten.
  12. From what I'd read yesterday, I took it that WI did it in the opposite order to what TX did. Perhaps WI does the jury instructions after closing then. Of course, I could have misread yesterday...
  13. No commentary attached to my comment. Just the clarification...
  14. He drew the names of the 6 jurors that would be alternates, not the ones that will be deliberating. Apparently this is some quirk of WI court rules... Like doing the jury instructions before closing statements instead of after (From what I understand, TX does the opposite).
  15. Wouldn't this exempt him? (c) This section applies only to a person under 18 years of age who possesses or is armed with a rifle or a shotgun if the person is in violation of s. 941.28 941.28 is the SBR part...
  16. It was a BLM protest... All the people that got shot were white. By a white kid. A black guy carrying an AR-15 would have been supported... HTH
  17. We've been to DR 5 times (different resorts each time) and only Cabarete wasn't mega-sketchy outside the wire. And there was a plenty of Presidente at all of our resort. Now...we DID do excursions, but that wasn't what I was referring to... But, I will definitely take back my advice if you're going to be in the Cabarete area. Had a great time there and would go back again - without an all inclusive.
  18. So, as I posted in the other Boston thread, I'll be there for just one day. I fly in late Friday and fly out early Sunday so I'm staying at the Embassy Suites in East Boston by BOS. I'm thinking of taking the subway to Fenway, getting on the Maverick Blue line and switching to the Green line at Gov't Center and then taking that to the Fenway stop. Is that correct? Then take the same way back to Gov't Center and start walking up Hanover St and having a bit to eat or drink at each place. But, I was wanting to get some good chowdah, Scrod, and lobstah rolls. It's gonna be a fat boy day. And then good places to day drink on that path. I know there's the Union Oyster House. They were good the last time I was there, but maybe that was just gringo tourista food. Like Mi Tierra in SA.
  19. Two McRibs for $6. Yep. Lunch and dinner today...
  20. Don't know your age, but they first came out in 1981. McRib "Season" is a nebulous thing, only known to the Gods of Fast Food. There is no set start date nor end date. There is not even any kind of notification other than you walk in or drive by a McDs and see a sign announcing them. Then...and only then...do you get to know that your life has become better. That the GoFF are smiling down upon you. Get 2 at lunch. Or 3-4 if you're a big, hungry boy. Eat half at lunch. Eat the rest for dinner. Bring wet naps... Not sure exactly how long they smoke (I'm talking about the employees of McDs). But, I think they marinate them in crack water before cooking.
  21. I don't think I've ever seen a "half sour" in the wild (I.e. grocery store) so I've never tried one. Anyone know where I can find some without having to order online (not that that's a big issue, just seeing if there's any stores that carry them).
  22. I made some BLTs with fried green tomatoes that were glorious. I think having pickled fried green tomatoes might make it go up to 11.
  23. I've had 4 so far. (gotta get the fix before they go away) Yes I'm fat. Fuck you, they're tasty.
  24. You need to fix the link...clicking it redirects back to this page...
