  1. It was a game to them when they were lying about Obama and Hillary, and it's a game to them now that they are lying to protect Trump. The irony is that they have pulled the wool over the eyes of Americans who are "sick of Washington politics" but have been tricked into supporting it in its worst form.
  2. Truth. They have no principles and think it's funny that other people do. In fact, they most likely think that you don't have any principles either and are just pretending to as part of the same game they are playing. People like them are the reason why, throughout history, a few bloodthirsty maniacs have been able to amplify their message, take over nations, and commit genocide. They are people who declare their patriotism the most vocally, but who would sell out their country the fastest if it were in their interest. The potential Obergruppenführer John Smiths among us. If you get a kick out of playing piñata with particularly stupid ones like Crusher and Hammer, by all means, have fun. But don't be under the mistaken impression that you are in a genuine debate with a reasonable, principled person.
  3. Even if McConnell says it, the Dems shouldn't trust him. Do public hearings in the House and get it all out there before sending it to the Senate.
  4. Wasn't his first quote that he supported an impeachment inquiry, and this quote was that he has not said he supported actually voting for impeachment at the end of that inquiry?
  5. I actually know him somewhat (I've never met her though). I can personally vouch for him being a great, genuine, and brilliant guy. Totally not a politician type, and I find it sort of funny to see him in this position.
  6. Yeah, that's kind of a big correction. Hey, I heard McConnell says he won't fill a Supreme Court seat that opens within a year of an election!
  7. True. Although they've likely had the complaint for weeks, so their response has to be considered in the context of them knowing that this was likely to come out. If they were blindsided, they might have lied first.
  8. The reality, unfortunately, is that the Dem leadership doesn't know how to go on offense with political messaging. And Mueller didn't help with the way he did his report. This whistleblower essentially took matters into his own hands and drafted the right messaging in his complaint.
  9. They should give more questions/time in the debate to the frontrunners.
  10. They're blaming NSC lawyers, although the direction they attribute to the NSC lawyers is pretty vague: "In a statement provided to CNN, a senior White House official says it was under the direction of National Security Council attorneys: "NSC lawyers directed that the classified document be handled appropriately." If this is to be taken literally, the question then is why the White House thought it was appropriate to put the transcript on that particular server.
  11. White House confirms the substance of the cover-up charge from the whistleblower:
  12. So you think he's being niggardly with his interpretation of the remark?
  13. Your source is using racist term to describe the whistleblower. Certainly emblematic of trumpists though
  14. I love how the side that ran on locking up the opposing candidate in prison is now arguing that the Dems opening an impeachment inquiry is too much for voters to stomach.
  15. Look, y'all asked a moron for his reasoning, he gave you moronic reasoning, and he doesn't understand why his reasoning is moronic. What else did you expect from a moron?
  16. Yep. There are multiple health care plans on the table. It will all be hashed out in Congress. We know where Warren and others stand on the spectrum of proposals and how much she cares about the issue. That's really all that matters to me.
