  1. My favorite was when they announced the corner blitz 2 seconds before the snap.
  2. So he is admitting they want and would take all of our recruits? How is that possible since they aren't SEC recruits?
  3. The only explanation I could see was that the KU guy got to the ball first and had a hand on it, then Brewer got there and grabbed it and twisted away but the KU defender still had his hand on the ball, so they ruled he had possession before Brewer.
  4. Jamison specifically trying to catch the kickoff in bounds rather than let it go out was fun.
  5. They also spent all offseason repping McCulloch and Ossai as Mac/Rover, now McCulloch is injured and Ossai is playing Nickel.
  6. Go cocks
  7. I agree with you but since I don't see much changing this year, I am at least trying to stay positive since we almost certainly won't have a coaching change. I also don't think it was just more experience. We didn't have a stud B-backer like Ossai in 2017 and still managed to be successful. Does Orlando need talent at certain positions?
  8. Since the most likely outcome is the coaching staff stays the same, and because people are generally resistant to change, what are the reasons we were successful on defense in 2017 (except for Maryland and KSU) and can we replicate it in 2020? I seem to remember the key guys being a disruptive NT in Poona (4th year), freak athlete LB in Malik (3rd year), shutdown corner in Hill (3rd year) until he was suspended. Then you had Elliott (3rd year) and Hall (4th year) who were solid. How much better will Coburn, Ojomo, and Sweat be next year? What if Jalen Green were healthy? Can we find 2 LBs who have good enough recognition and instincts to play fast?
  9. Why are you getting angry at his answers? You don't really expect him to answer truthfully, do you? Is this your first press conference?
  10. It seems like cross-training the safeties has been a feature not a bug. Is that because of concerns with depth and if an injury happens keeping the best 11 on the field? If so is there hope that they can get to a point where there is a primary/backup at each position all good enough to play, rather than reshuffling all the time?

  12. Based on that definition of garbage possession, the 2 Rice TDs were garbage, but the 1 Oklahoma St and the 2 WVU TDs were not.
  13. Is the full game available for replay somewhere? I can't find it on youtube.
  14. Is he the next Reggie McNeal or the next Jerrod Johnson?
  15. Haynes King has got to be excited to see how Mond is playing and his interactions with Jimbo. It seemed like in the second half Jimbo realized the only advantage his team has is when Mond runs, and he is going to run Mond into the ground the rest of the season. It is their only hope for 7-5.
  16. Can we have a Chase Young?
  17. aggy is going to PI on the next play, but the refs aren't going to call it
  18. Haven't heard Leon's name called.
  19. Amputation...or whatever Magus said.
  20. Remember back when everyone knew the hammer was about to come down on Ole Miss and a bunch of players were like, nah I don't believe it, coach said it wasn't true, and ended up going there anyways?
  21. But seriously though, JQJ is running it by the staff before he tells some kid he can't be part of the class, right? Right??
  22. There was still 3:44 on the clock. The punt rolls down inside the 5. Texas goes three and out, OSU uses timeouts, and the punter shanks it from the endzone. OSU scores quick and then kicks off with 2:45 left on the clock. We need a first down to end the game. Except for the fact that I saw it with my own eyes, that sounds more realistic and probable than Jones and his slide muff.
  23. I don't remember hearing McCulloch being mentioned the last couple weeks. Are we only asking him to be steady in the middle and he is competent but unspectacular? Or is he about to be passed by other guys?
  24. Chris Brown
  25. 247 has the composite team score that combines the recruit rankings for the entire team to show the overall talent level. https://247sports.com/Season/2019-Football/CollegeTeamTalentComposite/ Of course this is based on high school recruit projections and does not include development in college or coaching. #15 Tennessee #21 South Carolina #22 Miss St #25 Ole Miss #26 Arkansas To me the defining characteristic of the SEC is great athletes that are not developed and play under terrible coaching. You watch these teams and you see the huge athletic D-lineman and fast skill players, but they play like garbage.
