So, looking at the percentages, Jewish population is 2.17% of the American population. In Pennsylvania, it is 3.3% of the population. WI: 0.6%. MI: 0.9%. AZ: 1.7%. NV: 2.6%.
The latest poll I could find was from April.
Jews break 57% Dem, 27% Ind, 14% Rep.
58% had a favorable opinion of Biden, compared to 23% for Trump and 29% for Netanyahu. The Democrats trailed Biden by 5 points, so I imagine Kamala may have a lower percentage.
While 81% said they are either "very attached" or "somewhat attached" to Israel, only 25% listed Israel as one of their top two issues, behind "the future of democracy" (46%), abortion (30%), and "inflation and economy"(26%). It would be interesting to see the Venn diagram between those how had Israel higher than abortion or future of democracy, but preferred Biden over Trump. I would imagine it's a thin slice.
I think the bigger concern would be how Harris deals with the protestors. Antisemitism is a concern with 94% of the respondents. Even though it's slightly less when considering college campuses (91%), the Harris team definitely will need to vet anyone before having a sit down meeting. It would be pretty bad to have a picture of some dipshit with antisemitic sign attached to a story of Harris meeting with their group.
