    Him slipping now doesn't mean he'll keep falling. Pretty much every year draft analysts go through the same process with prospects. During the season they focus on the player's film and on-field play, then as we get to Senior Bowl and combine season prospects start to get underrated or overrated depending on measurables, and finally a couple weeks after the combine the analysts go back to rewatching the film and guys with good film move back up. This happens pretty much every cycle and it was always going to happen to Banks since he's smaller than your normal 1st round OT. As long as Banks' height or wingspan are below average but not drastically low I don't think his stock will change a ton from where it was towards the end of the season.

    The other thing that will help him is there aren't many other highly-rated OTs. Will Campbell is the only other OT thought to be a worth a top 10-15 pick. Personally, I don't think Campbell's play was all that great and he seems overrated to me. Either way, there's a good chance Banks goes top 10 or top 15 off teams reaching for need alone.

    On the plus side, he will end up playing for a better team.

    could be front office smokescreens, too.

    I just don't see a first round WR in the entire draft this year outside of possibly McMillan, and that is assuming a lot. It wouldn't surprise me to see Burden and Golden drop into round 2 with a few other viable options. I think Banks will ultimately be drafted in the top 10-15. If Barron runs well I could see him as a top 15-20 pick. I still say that Quinn will shoot back up draft boards heading into the draft and find himself at the bottom of the first.

    Yeah Golden doesn't seem like a first rounder to me, either. But what do I know?

    Also agreed on Ewers. The injury history is still a big issue even if he kills it in the workouts.

    I don’t know if you heard it here first or whether some motherfucker said it upthread….

    but Matthew Golden is going to be a top tier WR in the NFL

    Jeremiah first mentioned it on Eisen's show a week or so ago. Golden really impressed late in the year and NFL teams noticed.

    1. I’d argue that the vast majority of undocumented immigrants don’t receive paychecks, but cash under the table, therefore negating the payment of any taxes. There is no way for either of us to prove or disprove this;

    The ones who fall into this category are agricultural workers who sneak across the border to work and then take their cash back home to Mexico. It's a sizeable group but I'd argue it's not the "vast majority."

    How does he hear it? Through what sources?

    The campaign redirected him on Project 2025 because they needed to win an election. He has no more elections to win. Public opinion is the last thing he cares about now. He will retain power through extralegal means (vis a vis the current status of the law). What Elon and Putin think matters. What trucknuts10234758017 thinks is completely irrelevant.

    He also doesn't need to outright grift from folks anymore with things like bibles and signs. He can just redirect tax dollars to his hearts content.

    Some of y'all just do not get that it is all fucking over.

    the man literally lives on social media. if there are enough "truths" complaining about it he'll change direction. he's vain.
