It was a tough call - stay out with a chance to win but also risk missing the podium altogether, or pit and guarantee a podium finish. Still an amazing effort.
We're seeing a more shrewd politician than we thought who is thinking about a post-Trump GOP. She's doing this to ensure she has a seat at the table.
Pivoting to the mainstream is a good political move long-term regardless of whether she seeks anything more than repping her district.
She's criticized the GOP in the past for not being prepared to move on from Trump. So she's decided "fuck it, I'll do it myself!"
Likely because the people actually handling this information are not political appointees but are career civil servants whose pensions would be at risk if they engaged in any fuckery. Criminal penalties are on the table even if Trump were to promise a pardon - not like he gives a shit about them. Thats a lot to risk for a lame duck.
The wild card is whether or not Johnson brings the House back even if the Senate comes to an agreement to re-open the government. He's moved Heaven and Earth to keep them out of session to protect Trump from whatever is in those Epstein files.
I've discovered that Fubo's app quality and features depends on the platform. For example, we can't do multi view on our smart tv but can on the Roku stick. Also, the Fox 4k feed breaks the Roku for some reason (as in we have to unplug it and plug it back in.) Works just fine on the smart TV app though.
So the moral is YMMV with Fubo depending on the platform you use.
Yes that deal just closed. No conflict of interest there!
Anyway the bigger picture is that the cost for live sports rights keeps going up and providers like Disney, Paramount, and Universal are going to have to pass that on to the consumer somehow - commercial airtime can't cover the entire bill.
