  1. yeah trump is gonna live forever. holy cow y'all are strange. gonna stick to something sane like the Sark thread on the football board.
  2. Trump is fucking 80 years old and can barely complete a sentence. Gimme a fucking break. It's already Weekend at Bernie's at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
  3. The upcoming civil war in the GOP is going to be fascinating. Trump's departure will leave a power vacuum like nothing we've seen in American politics. There is also no clear successor, no platform, no vision, and no leadership due to the way Trump has run the party.
  4. FLUB BLUB LOOK AT THE MOOSE OVER THERE
  5. they don't really have to - Trump keeps saying they are lower and they see otherwise in their day to day lives.
  6. Interesting. I expect the GOP to hold on to this but they are having to work for it:
  7. I'm not talking about the voters.
  8. more details on what HJ posted: I hope this woman prosecutes every case for the DOJ in their witch hunt. She's wonderfully incompetent.
  9. Mike Johnson's reaction would indicate they haven't finished anything and fully expected this to be kicked back to the House. These aren't very smart people.
  10. Michigan is gonna beat Ohio State again.
  11. Pro tip- put futureman on ignore.
  12. that was quick:
  13. it needs to be punitive so they don't try this bullshit again.
  14. As long as they can prove it isn't a race-based gerrymander it will stand. Texas' failed because they couldn't prove it wasn't a racial gerrymander (which it very much was.)
  15. Kliff Kingsbury was fired after three straight losing seasons at Tech then hired as the head coach for the Arizona Cardinals. There's a lot of dumbasses in NFL front offices.
  16. The GOP could try to muck this up with a bunch of amendments in the Senate so that it has to go back to the House. That keeps it in the news. The other option is to just pass it as is and send to Trump for his signature. He can veto it. That keeps it in the news. Trump could also sign it, then use the "active investigation" line to withhold some of the information. That keeps it in the news. I would expect the House Oversight Committee to continue the slow drip as well. The problem is that the Trump administration has acted like there is something they REALLY don't want to see the light of day in there and the implication is that it is very damaging to Trump. The correct course of action would have been to double down on the "nothing to see here" memo from Blondie, then throw her under the bus for lying with the "files are on my desk" line.
