  1. Anyone tried Blind Goat on Long Point in da SB yet?
  2. Brah, no corn pudding? Was there on Wed and still consistently great.
  3. I bought a Polaris Rzr 170 for my then 4 and 10 year olds (its a side by side but basically a go kart). It is designed for that age and has been fantastic so far. Only drawback is I'm 6'0" and my knees hit the dash. If you are 6'1", now way you fit and thus would not be able to sit in there with them to teach them how to drive.
  4. YOLO. Plant away as next 10 day forecast has little chance of freeze so I'm going to gamble.
  5. Umm, with that kind of attitude, you can't bitch about the greatest offense we have and will ever see as Longhorn fans. What is wrong with you?
  6. In my mid 20's, worked in Connecticut. Had to choose whether to mimize daily commute or fun-related commute. Chose to live in Manhattan, locking in one hour daily commute, because higher probability of consistently dipping my little peen into ladies. No ragrets.
  7. Suggestions on best place to market a rental home in Austin (near Rollingwood)? Going to self-manage but wondering where people who have enough money to pay high rents but not enough money to own said home go looking for a rental nowadays. Last time I rented this house, I rented to a family with a Kindergartener who wanted A-rated Eanes schools and I said "how great would it be for them to stay here until she graduates"....and that little girl is now graduating so they are finally moving out in May. Let's run this no-churn bitch back.
  8. Sides way more important than non-Trinity choice. I'd say weighted value should be 35% brisket 25% ribs 20% sausage 15% sides 3% dessert 2% non-trinity, I have high estrogen category so I order turkey at BBQ restaurant category
  9. I hadn't even heard of Le Bureau so will have to watch a trailer or something. Lupin season 1 was ok but still battled through it and Season 2. Show could have been one season long and covered everything and would have been better, IMO.
  10. Yeah, we will most definitely not dominate. However, I'd love to go 2X aggies each year at a minimum. But 2 times 0 is 0 so maybe 2x aggies PLUS be top 3 in conference championships or something like that.
  11. But if you don't do the research, that means I'd have to and that's not what the internet is for. The internet is to take data from a complete stranger and use it like no truer words have ever been written.
  12. Nice job. So how many conf championships did Florida win per year? We can assume we will be around that # given more competitive nature and FL will slide down a bit. Then aggies will slide down annual amount too...so what is that #? 18 divided by 10? Is that how long they've been dominating the SEC? So that 1.8 becomes 1.3 per year. Without knowing FL average, my gut guess is we overtake in 5 years.
  13. I get such joy watching thieves get ass kicked. Maybe not killed but just a few broken bones.
  14. I despise restaurants where there is no salt shaker on table. Salt me up, brah, and let me have some control in my dark, lonely, powerless life.
  15. Wanted to like Lupin since I'm a sucker for intelligent thief shows (and CIA type shows). It was completely meh.
  16. Yeah, the main dude who serves at Truth Houston has told me he works a good amount in Brenham. It's all side chit-chat while he is handling my meat (wat) but I've always wanted to ask....does Truth house you while there? Reimburse you for time and gas for driving? Etc etc
  17. Ahhh, 6'9" and 235 is pretty far right on bell curve. I'm 6'0" and couldn't tell you maintenance # because I don't log all items but lately, more and more restaurant have calories listed on menus so its giving me a clue. For example, I had First Watch for breakfast and was floored that what I ate, which was yogurt and some peanut butter toast, was listed at 940 calories. Then I had Xochi for lunch and that was probably 1,000 calories (their version of shrimp n grits). Probably 500 calorie dinner at home. This was standard weekday (no alcohol as saving it for tmrw and super bowl) and I don't gain weight so to answer your question....maybe I'm 2,500 without working out a ton??
  18. Hold on....your caloric maintenance is 3,500 calories? I don't log calories but that seems high, especially at that age. You must have an unreal metabolism or run a 10k while doing bicep curls every day.
  19. The beauty of Ketch is that his unlikeability is like art in that there is no wrong opinion.
  20. My back is related to my lack of core. From the 90s through 2015, I was more like a green avocado but in 2023, more like that samr avocado about 10 days later. Has the avocado grown in size? No. But was it firm when you bought in ten days ago and now super soft? Yes. Good idea on elliptical. I'll check out how much those cost and heck, maybe someone around here bought one during covid and now never uses it and I buy it at deep discount.
  21. Chat GPT, please write a $9.95 article that I will still annoyingly enjoy. Optimistic tone and add "I'm told"
  22. Ha, that was his name! I had forgotten. Well, his wife was not his favorite stripper from summer 2000 to summer 2001, I can tell you that. Homey gave lots of cash to my neighbor. She would have thousands of dollars on her countertop and would never lock her door. I was in awe of her innocence (at least she had one type of sweet innocence)
  23. I used Round Top Bank when I bought our little ranchito and it went smooth as silk. Plus lower interest rates than big, new yark city banks.
  24. See....luck. I left Aug 2001 so my laptop and (first ever) cell phone were handed over to HR and not the FBI. Enron Bandwidth and the Blockbuster/Enron deal were actually both ahead of their time in theory but goes to show you that great ideas need a semblance of ramp up time and can't be priced into the stock value right away. They were trying to monetize ideas that would take a decade to turn a huge profit. Little known nugget....I was banging a smokeshow of a stripper for a year there (again...luck, she was my neighbor) and her best client was the Bandwidth CEO. And she would always hand me the business cards of all these enron dorks that paid a lot to see those taddies. Please don't tell me what else she did with them.
