  1. Dad’s teams 60-63 never lost to piggy, OU sucks, or aggy! Hook’em!!!
  2. After P Gardere’s team, I can’t recall another stretch of teams that didn’t lose to OU or aggy, same season for four years, since my Dad’s era in the early 60s. I’m sure the 69-70 did, but I don’t know if it was for four years. Immamac will have to google foo for the correct response. Hook’em!!!
  3. Gardere was undefeated against both OUsucks and aggy. Peter was great! Hook’em!!!
  4. I posted my mea culpa in another thread, which I forgot, because I’m trying to get the day drinking down into season form. Wife permitting of course. Always F aggy and OU sucks! Hook’em!!!
  5. If y’all will excuse me while I day drink and get into season form, my posts might not be relevant- wife permitting. Hook’em!!!
  6. Trev is the perfect POS for aggy. I don’t know why he was there, but when my Dad was the AD at Houston Christian (15 years ago) he was an unbelievable ass just talking to him, at a small private school sideline on a Friday night. I was nice talking about his era and Nebby, and how I liked Remington being a Center in his era, which I played in the late ‘80s. Hook’em!!!
  7. I’d say 36-42 teams to narrow it down, similar to the NFL. Everyone will play cross conferences/divisions. Undefeated won’t happen. Hook’em!!!
  8. The defense will be the best we’ve seen since FUPM’s best era. We have so many “edge” players that they can’t all play at the same time. Hook’em!!!
  9. Come on team - Juan Davis is my new favorite player nobody knows about. Welcome to the big scene young man! Hook’em!!!
  10. Hook’em X, I hope you have a decade+ of success. Just like Bijan, my favorite current NFL player, even though he plays for the Dirty Birds, I’ll be wearing his jersey at work next Friday as we celebrate a new season. Hook’em!!!
  11. Even for a dirt stealer, I like your choice in shoes. Hook’em!!!
  12. Fng “The Elk” takes up three seats in the front row. Hook’em!!!
  13. Same thing with utilizing Juan Davis! Hook’em!!!
  14. When I was stationed in S Korea, early ‘90s, we had rebar racks over our foxholes at the qualifying rifle range. If you shot over/outside the rebar, you’d shoot into N Korea. It was amazing thinking that we’d go to “the field” for a month, less than 5-10 miles from a sworn enemy and not have a live round on each soldier in the field! Since I was with MLRS battalion, we did have a “hot launcher” ready 24/7. We were the only ones that could reach Pyongyang at the flip of a switch. Hook’em!!!
  15. Stop! My head hurts reading this thread. Hook’em!!!
  16. Only in N Korea would someone pin medals on their pants. Hook’em!!!
  17. Hook’em!!! J Whitt! I’ve watched you since HS and only want the best for you in hopefully the decade plus in the NFL. Hook’em!!!
  18. My son is a Fng Saints fan. He was born in the same hospital, in Sulphur Louisiana, as Dak Prescott. Hook’em!!!
  19. Cowboys are going to “tank” the season and the fans can suck it! I already bought tickets to the Saints game on 9/15, for my Son’s B-day, plus the Fng hotel the night before because we’re driving from SA. Plus I want to watch the Horns play UTSA upon arrival. Hook’em!!!
  20. I’m a Cowboys fan and I don’t see us above .500 in the season. Quite frankly, I think the Texans have a better chance to reach the AFC title game before the Cowboys reach the NFC title. Just my opinion. Hook’em!!!
  21. The future “big league” will consist of 36-42 teams and broke up in divisions similar to the NFL. Undefeated seasons will no longer exist. Hook’em!!!
  22. I like Leatherman utility knife, as I have one that is 25+ years old in my truck. Still in the original belt holder/sheath. The knife is older than my son, who’s two years out of college. Kind of like my Cowboys not even reaching a NFC championship game since ‘95. Hook’em!!!
  23. Pieces of flair just like the back side of a truck in West Houston. If there aren’t three plus stickers, you’re not a true aggy. Hook’em!!!
  24. Juan Davis is our Swiss Army knife or switchblade, whichever mode of utilization you choose. He can run, catch, and block if desired. Just saying. Coaches used him more yesterday. Hook’em!!!
  25. My wife is an English/Language Arts teacher and previous court reporter. She “proof reads” all my important correspondence prior to hitting send/submit/print. Hook’em!!!
