  1. Puffy paint and overalls in the B/CS Chamber of Congress
  2. It’s amazing that aggy is so irrelevant until something like this shit gets posted. Hook’em!!!
  3. That’s a shame, as I vividly remember Troy Aikman guiding the Bruins in his Bowl game (Senior year) while driving back (radio) from SETX back to Fort Sill, OK. Time is flying by but I think it was UCLA vs Arky in the Cotton? Such a historic program and Top-5 Home uniform -IMO. Hook’em!!!
  4. I was stationed in S Korea while in the Army. Always remembered the difference in beef noodles, P or K, so I always associated K with the K-9 police dogs. K meant DOG my whole year there. Hook’em!!!
  5. Grilled cat looks better than that and I’m not in Asia. Hook’em!!!
  6. Who had to leave the grill unattended? Hook’em!!!
  7. We have Arch for two years max. It is written (IMO) that he will go to New Orleans, like his Grandfather and hometown and resurrect that program. Hook’em!!!
  8. We were on a Tennessee thread, so it was applicable, whether you like it or not. Hook’em!!!
  9. Shit - drinking my picture of the DeSoto boys was in a different post. “Bucket” is on the far right. Hook’em!!!
  10. He had such a large-sized head and helmet, that was his nickname. CSB - Dad ordered him a special helmet for Troy’s Senior year, but was late in arrival. Dad actually went to the Cowboys and got a loner for Troy’s first or second scrimmage that season. Hook’em!!!
  11. The guy in the far right of my earlier posted picture, Troy Hale, owned a Sports Bar in Knox, known as Buckets.
  12. Sorry for the ramble, been drinking as I’m already off for Easter weekend. Looking back (blurry eyed) I apologize. Hook’em!!!
  13. It’s ok to have other “favorites” IMO. Once Dad had players possibly on TV each weekend for Tennessee, on the Jefferson Pilot Broadcast (old WTBS) I really became a fan of Tennessee. It always seamed like (80s) all of their games home/away were on TV. Hook’em!!! Shit my Dad was my HS FBHC and I begged him to order Black Nike’s for my Senior year! At the time there was only like 4-5 “Blue Bloods” wearing black shoes. We were like a “service academy” running a variation of the Wishbone anyways. I got my way and we might’ve looked slow AF, but we looked good IMO. Hook’em!!!
  14. I won’t go there, as I’ve been drinking and I love Surly. Hook’em!!!
  15. Just want the possible best in this situation for Tennessee. Neyland is awesome in the Fall as a CFB fan. Didn’t ride a boat to the experience in the mid -‘80s, but was an awesome experience and stepped on one or two docked boats. And I was a youngster, with eyes wide open! Hook’em!!!
  16. Wrong source for feedback on the topic. And I really like Mike as a person/coach. Hook’em!!!
  17. Damn - talking about pre planning. Put their card in your wallet prior to going out. Hook’em!!!
  18. All four played for my Dad at DeSoto in the early ‘80s. Hook’em!!
  19. No bump, but quality (local) school, that “maybe” should’ve gone there from the start? I know the lure of Neyland, as my Dad has coached players in HS that went to Tennessee. The UCLA home (light blue) colors are Top 5 -IMO of CFB uniforms. Then you get to play half your games in the Rose Bowl? I’d take a small pay cut to come back home and participate in that. They just need “something” to put butts in the seats of the RB! Frankly, it’s been embarrassing the last couple years when the TV cameras span out. Hook’em!!!
  20. The whole time I was supposed to be finding the “diamond in the rough” Chem E major at McNeese. I wasn’t a CE, but they knew I finished there and lived there for a decade+ plus for the relationship building. We usually get 1 or 2 McNeese interns each summer to come to SA. Maybe 1-3 UT students. The majority are aggy or dirt burglers - yuck!!! Hook’em!!!
  21. As a small individual $$ donor, as well as my employer’s campus wide $$$, I had access more than others in the 2010’s to McNeese. Ed O off the field was as personable as one could get. He always remembered my name and etc, as if he was recruiting me. And this is while he’s trying to watch his sons practice/play. Hook’em!!!
  22. Have you heard the Ogre sing online? Nothing but Coonass Comical! I laugh, but he did send both of his boys to my McNeese Cowboys. While at LSU Coach O was “present” at his Boys practices, scrimmages, and games as time would allow. Sometimes arriving on the field level for just the 2nd half. A reporter once asked the Ogre why he didn’t just let his boys walk-on at LSU? He frankly said, because my boys wanted to play ball! They couldn’t have done that at LSU! Hook’em!!!
  23. Kind of like a barrel “exploding” at the gun range. Hook’em!!!
  24. Even though they have a tough schedule, I say 8, counting Bowl victory. Seven or less, counting Bowl win isn’t going to cut it - IMO. Hook’em!!!
  25. SBB - y’all just need something “electric,” in order to get butts in the seats, besides the every other year USC matchup. Maybe the “local” kid can do it? Hook’em!!!
