  1. I doubt either region wants to claim that shithole. Let’s just call it hell and leave it at that.
  2. I (we) can feel your pain when I read the game and other threads here. Our programs are mirror images of each other right now. Hopefully we have righted the ship and the ‘Horns aren’t far behind
  3. I’m betting Orlan_o is busy updating his résumé as we speak
  4. The OLine is pathetic, soft and no nastyness. The D is an abomination to football. LB corp with no football IQ (out of position, bad angles), secondary not worth mentioning. Much like y’all are experiencing, there is a huge culture problem with the team. A good number of players have no business wearing the USC uniform. ClayDoh fostered an environment of softness. Coach Riley has his work cut out for him next year. His first act needs to be blowing up the dead weight, players and staff.
  5. He also had an 18 month show cause from the ncaa after he left Whoregon
  6. During my time as a contract consultant, my motto was “ I can’t be bought, but I can be rented”
  7. My bad, I misinterpreted who he was talking about
  8. You’re not seriously referring to ClayDoh as “coach”, are you? “Golly gee, all them boys are warriors…shucks we”re gonna go over the film and get some ice cream.”
  9. Have you MET our fans?? The standard is win the PAC every year
  10. Different AD from the dingleberries beforehand. And yes, they were Trojans. Pat Haden is the knucklehead that got this ball rolling downhill. Lynn Swann is the genius who pushed the ball faster giving Helton a ginormous contract for no good reason.
  11. Same guy who took the USC job, then bailed for the NFL before the ink was dry. Fool me once…
  12. I am betting Riley doesn’t plan on visiting Lancaster or Fontucky any time soon. Unless he misses the sweet aroma of meth labs in the morning
  13. Being born and raised in Southern California, there is/was a lot to enjoy there. Being old, it’s not the same place I grew up. Growing up an OC surf-rat, I do miss sliding some waves in the morning, then heading to school. Now? Too many kooks, no parking, traffic sucks, etc.. We bailed out of SoCal to Arizona 5 years ago. Since I don’t have the FU money, we got priced out of the market…$600K for a meh house in mediocre areas. And without going CR, politics had a hand in the move also. Our living expenses decreased 60% immediately. Since we own our own business, finding a gig wasn’t a problem. Traffic is just fucking insane. I lived 15 miles from work, and did a 50 minute (each way) commute. I could ride my bicycle and get home the same time. Gridlock at 10PM on a weekend? Oh yeah. Of course, LR won’t have those issues with what he will get paid.
  14. What the fuck do Bakersfield and Fresno have to do with the L.A.area?
  15. Looking forward to seeing you there. ✌️
  16. Well that was a yooooge swing for the fences. Now it’s time to deliver
  17. When Pete was HC, the OC was Norm Chow, who could scheme the crap out of an offense in his prime, after Chow left, Freshwater was the OC. Sark became OC when Freshwater went to the Raiduhs, 2007 or so
  18. Remember that Sark coached with Coach O at USC, so this was a not a new thing
  19. Wait…what??? Not bloody likely. I’m guessing the only one who has him in the mix is his agent trying to get him a bigger gig
  20. You would REALLY want Orlan_o back? Not to mention Harrell, who couldn’t out-scheme Orlan_o?? Deal!!!
  21. Thanks for the players, but we’ll give you back Orlan_o, Naivar, & throw in Harrell for a coach with a pair of balls
  22. I would still call the game a toss-up
  23. Can y’all send him our way for some “motivational speaking”? Ain’t a damn thing wrong with what he did. The only ones worried about it are the titty-babies who a) never played a competitive aport b) never amounted to squat due to being soft c) clutch their pearls at the realities of life. Even back in high school, had we been laughing or talking on the bus after a loss, they’d have been picking pieces of our ass out of the coach’s shoe for a week. Good on Coach Davis for giving them real talk… do your job of GTFO
  24. True, but from the little sample size at SC, it was usually a big pass play or long run, then a defensive turnover leading to a short field and a TD… not so much a coherent scheme. His scheme was: bubble screen, deep toss, off-tackle run.
  25. Be careful what you ask for…he was fired at USC for that and wound up suing the school for wrongful termination, because protected class. I don’t remember the outcome (settlement or what), but yeah he’s a piece of crap
