  1. Time to move on?? What the fuck?? Even if he says LSU, we push and flip him by signing day. We are about to shine on the field and LSU will blow once again under a coach that doesn’t fit their program.
  2. RB Jonathan Brooks was back at practice Monday, he had missed practice over the weekend with an illness, but he is fine and back at practice now. Nothing to see here. If brooks is gonna get injured it’s gonna be later on with hitting and pads, or more likely, games. - The biggest news was that DJ Campbell was the starting right guard on Monday. Cole Hutson was working with the twos. A big development in the fifth practice around one of the most anticipated position battles coming into fall camp. Anything else would be a travesty. Isn’t he the highest rated OL we’ve signed in a long time? Above banks who looks like the best tackle in the country? - I asked one person if Isaiah Neyor was still working behind Johntay Cook and was told "(Neyor) actually ran some with the ones today." I didn't press about how exactly that worked and who was displaced in this arrangement, but it's clearly something to monitor. For anyone who was worried that he was looking like he was demoted to the third team at the end of last week, apparently there are ways he's getting involved with the first group, so those worries are at least a bit unfounded for now. Wrs run so much, I think we’ll see a lot of rotation this year since we are so deep. Starter won’t matter as much as who is playing at the end of tight games, if we have any… - I asked who was looking good among the edge rushers and was told it looks like J'Mond Tapp as the primary guy for now behind Ethan Burke. This person also said something that we'd kind of pointed out in practice reports, that some of the inside LBs were getting utilized more in a spot where they spin down to the line of scrimmage to rush, or where they will stunt. Jaylan Ford was actually mentioned as a guy to watch in this regard more so than we saw from him last year. Anyone that watched the spring game saw Anthony hill jump off the tape with his athleticism…he will be like a mini micah parsons off the edge for us. Also, I think we might be better with collins as a big buck end hiding hill, being disruptive, and not being terrible at run defense than than Burke…sorrel sweat Murphy and collins sounds better than sorrel sweat Murphy and Burke anyway. My $.02
  3. I bought 2 for myself, then added one for a gift
  4. Went into wb by my Costco yesterday and sitting on the shelf was a woodford masters collection batch proof at 124 proof. And they had the piglets sitting around so I grabbed three sets. I was a little underwhelmed by the woodford, it tasted very brown Forman-y so it was way more similar in profile to an old forestor barrel pick than I expected rather than a woody sweet intense woodford double double Oaked type I was hoping for.
  5. I’d argue we could lose brooks for the year and manufacture the same rushing yards.
  6. I think so too, elite passing and being ahead will cause us to get similar rushing yards but we’ll get there from a different pathway bc the backs aren’t as good
  7. I don’t think we will depend nearly as much on worthy this year. He won’t get the same kind of targets as last year. Ad Mitchell will be #1 I think
  8. So taking it as a given that our RBs this year will have drop off, even if the scheme generates similar production, and that the focus will shift towards the passing game by running more 11 personnel instead of 12, which would make sense given how much better our 3rd wr is vs our 2nd TE, then it seems the success of the upcoming amazing season really depends on Ewers executing. All the parts of the car are there, what’s left is whether he can drive it. Also, I don’t think it gets enough credit, but I think having a steady staff and not over reacting by firing PK or other assistants is really paying off. When the coaching is consistent it creates the ability to really get deeper in what you are doing. I’m hoping that l really pays off in our money downs this year.
  9. Watching this show “ survive the raft”’ And it’s hosted by Nate Boyer. Nate fucking Boyer. When he introduced himself he said he was a green beret and a former football player that played in the nfl for the Seattle seabitches. NO MENTION OF THE UNIVeRSITY OF TEXAS!!!! What the fuck Nate, I felt fucking betrayed! I’m not a big money booster yet, but when I become one this type is bullshit won’t be tolerated. He should have listed family first, employment second. Will someone make this its own threa? I’m too drunk to reliably get that right, otherwise I may tomatoes
  10. These are decisions being made by high school juniors? They may change their minds from time to time.
  11. Someone posted a video on YouTube of the cowboys running “2min drill”. It looked like we are running a dink and dak offense with occasional deep balls over the top. I hope that’s not how our offense feels this year, but it seems very believable. We should all be prepared for having a loaded roster and fantastic defense then get wasted by a bunch of aggravating 3rd down non-conversions effectively turnovers.
  12. When they get into the season there is no way they will have him doing kick returns. He is too valuable as a rb.
  13. Fuck I’m excited about this season
  14. Looks like a lot of roid rage
  15. It’s also the position that determines a lot of “this class finished top #5” or whatever, bc that position gets a lot of high rated players, so you need them to have a ‘top’ class. Funny you need the most replaceable position to land a top class.
  16. So at this point the class will be defined by how many we land from: black, Simmons, wingo , and baker? Is that about right and where the focus really lies? Secondary to that is available 4*s still out there and then re-rankings of players as they go through their senior season?
  17. I think he’s the type to go to the nfl and be successful and then we’ll be scratching our heads about why we couldn’t get anything from him. I also don’t think he’s been used well for most of his time here, square peg round hole situation.
  18. He does do a good job. He looks into stuff and brings actual insights to the conversation.
  19. That was worthy’s best play and showed how his quickness should be used.
  20. Only statistically impossible if your under a normal distribution, they aren’t normal though…
  21. Based on the spring game, which is the only thing I’ve really been able to see for myself, it seems AD Mitchell is by far our best wr and worthy will be in a #2 type role which suits him better anyway.
  22. Rc Spanish oak is really good
  23. I wonder how rich I would need to be to take this attitude. I think about it with cars too, at what point would I buy a lambo? I’d definitely need to have enough money that the cost was inconsequential. Right now, I think that might be 10-20m if I had it established and invested in some tax efficient dividend producing funds or something generating 400-700k annually in perpetuity?
  24. It might just be where you are at. I can buy it faster than I drink it, so when I see something I buy it. I drink them, not sell them for profits, but it takes time. And there are times when I’m not looking and don’t buy and just drink it down. But at the end, because I can buy faster than drink, my collection net grows.
