  1. Anybody get their hands on a Stagg store pick from specs?
  2. I guess specs had a storm pick Stagg that disappeared instantly?
  3. Could be fuckery, but also could be that looking at total pop is misleading. Why_not_both.gif More useful to look at the pop that is producing most of the players, which would be areas with black people in regions where high school and college football are important culturally. That will cause LA,MS,AL,FL to proportion up.
  4. Thanks. I cleaned and replaced the sand 2 months ago. There is definitely a lot of sediment at the bottom of the pool from the floccing, and the water is clear when it’s settled and cloudy when it’s not. Sometimes the return jets are introducing cloudy water sometimes they are not. I have been putting in a gallon of chlorinating liquid a day to try and make sure I kill off any algae. I’ll run a sample to the store this afternoon and provide the current test levels. I’m having a hard time finding anything out that’s directly related to flocc in the sand filter. I think I’m going to drain the pool and pressure was it bc it looks like there’s a bunch of algae or stains on the plaster. But the real dilemma is if I should do the extra work to replace the sand. I certainly don’t want to recloud the new water bc of flocced up sand…
  5. So do people think my sand is fucked from the flocculant and I need to replace, or can I backwash the flocc out of it?
  6. Ran into a ecbp c920 the other day. Stoked as fuck bc it is delicious.
  7. I understand that I did not need the flocc. I misunderstood what would happen, I thought it would drop and I could sweep it to the main drain and then run it out the waste line, thus vacuuming to waste. When I tried to sweep it it just kicked back up into the water and I don’t have a vacuum to deal with it. Then I ran the filter and now I am pretty sure I have flocc all up in my filter, so I’m trying to figure out the best course of action from here. I can try to open the top of the filter and fill it with water and see how much I can clean out of the filter that way. I can keep putting gallons of chlorinating liquid in and running the filter. This is probably my plan… I don’t have a good test kit so I’ve been relying on Leslie’s and their test results seem suspect.
  8. Ok, I’m in a pickle.. Have a 10k gallon sand filtered pool. Had some equipment go down so couldn’t filter for a couple of weeks and algae bloomed like crazy. I’ve fixed the filter and I’ve been shocking the pool and I think I’ve killed the algae. Made a mistake of floccing the pool and letting it run through the filter. So now when I turn the filter in the water gets more cloudy. Questions (1) can I salvage the water/filter or should I just drain the water, wash the plaster, change the sand, and refill the pool? If I do this it’s the second time this year. If the flocc will break down and I can use clarifier and chlorine to get the pool back in order that’s preferable I think. (2) are Leslie’s pool supplies water testing results accurate? I get weird readings every time I go in and I don’t know if it’s my water or their tests. (3) Is Trouble free pool the right resource? They hate poolrx, but does anyone recommend it? Here is a picture of the pool after running the filter and getting the water cloudy again. The walls are still pretty green from algae. I figure I can get it with a brush maybe?
  9. Where was that at?? Does anybody know anything about Austin area bourbon groups? Even better if it’s a longhorn or TexEx bourbon group.
  10. Idk..some better clock mgt and some better execution earlier in the game and we could have beaten sf. I think the team is close to having big success, but until it happens it sounds like homerism. Reminds me of UT in that way, we were so close to being so much better than 4-8 or whatever last year.
  11. Picked one of these up today from these good guys. Anybody know how to link up with any Austin longhorn bourbon groups?
  12. So it seems like these school shootings are mostly carried out by young males aged 18-21. I don’t think these kids are choosing schools because they are “soft targets” I think they choose them bc they are still kids, and life in a school is pretty much all they’ve experienced. So that’s where they place their rage. And it seems like there is some pretty good science under the claim that a male’s brain isn’t fully developed until 25 or so, in particular the parts that would govern instincts to do dangerous stupid things. When I think about these things together I think it becomes obvious that some weapons should not be available for a person to purchase until they are older than 18, with the easiest example being assault rifles. I think we need to find some baby steps so one side doesn’t accuse the other of some straw man motivation like “they wanna take all our guns” or “ they don’t care about these kids they just want their guns” Reasonable background checks makes sense, though I get the fear that some would have about who gets to control who fails a background check, so some precaution should be taken there.
  13. Leroy and Lewis was an awesome lunch grab. No wait, place had good shaded seating. Food was amazing. Tried the beef cheeks, liked them. But I went for the burger and it was 10/10. Would check it out again
  14. I’m looking at going to Leroy and Lewis on Thursday, showing up around 1130. Will there be a big line? What to expect?
  15. I have all 9/30 calls on XSP. It was supposed to be a safe bet!
  16. I’m hiding from stocks. Because stocks have hurt me. Since 3/31 I’m down 90%. Diamond handing like a fucking retard. I went all in on 9/30 spy calls. Now they are all worthless. Please spy, go back up to 460…. On 3/31 I was up and we’ll positioned for a strong April earnings season. Sucks bad. Wife still wants to take her vacation, county still wants their property taxes….but nobody wants to give me my spy 460
  17. Picked up the jack daniels bonded. To me, tastes like OF100, but more expensive
  18. Picked up a Russell’s reserve store pick today. Phenomenal
  19. Seems like the cowboys like athletic tackles for their guards and that probably makes some sense, get the athletes and they’ll do better as guards. Hopefully he transitions well to guard. Linderbaum seemed real nice in that spot.
  20. Where is the tackle even gonna play? Wtf!! Lindebaum would have been a huge upgrade for us.
  21. Russels single barrel store pick coming soon to Austin area. Really been loving wt101 and rarebreed. Falling out of favor: OF100, jd sib rye, OGD114.
  22. Gotta go with Quinn now to give him every rep and max coaching. He has the arm talent and the mentality. He looks calm and naturally accurate. I think him being calm in the pocket is probably the biggest differentiator between him and card.
  23. Ewars was clearly better and was a breath of fresh air at the position. He doesn’t have scared feet, and he looks to make plays, not solely hitting dump offs and stuff underneath. He still needs to get better, but the things he needs to improve look like things that will get better with repAs/coaching/practice. The stuff that’s inherent to the player all looked great to me. Natural passer that stays calm in the pocket. And card is a lot better than whoever we got after him. So there is that.
  24. Stupid low or high? I think it’s worth every bit of $24.
  25. I would say open it, and have a drink when you think about your dad. It will keep for more than a year once opened.
