  1. You know, this was actually like a Kirk Ferentz type of game. Like he gets tapes of these games and keeps them to watch by himself at home because he like these kinds of games. The big thing is that the quarterbacks didn't turn the ball over all game.
  2. That 3 man rush with 8 guys dropping back in to coverage is the biggest defensive concept that Iowa State runs. It has frustrated so many guys over the past couple seasons in the Big 12.
  3. I think they just needed to make some adjustments on defense and get some first downs on offense but things just got out of hand.
  4. Brock Osweiller would be an improvement over what Luck has been doing the past few years.
  5. One of the most prolific and verbose writers on the subject of Illinois Football has dropped his preview for the season:
  6. They are moving over Ramsey and putting in Penix in Bloomington:
  7. I remember these games, this was back in the day where they had some kind of copywrite protection where you have to put on some special glasses and look and a weird colored paper to get the right password of the game would stop.
  8. Laney College in Oakland CA is confirmed for next season.
  9. subtle and understated trailer i am amazed that i had never heard of this show before
  10. I actually thought it was real life.
  11. Okay, I finished the final Where Are They Now episode and the time they spend with Isaiah Wright is downright depressing to see him and his two brother from the show just sitting around playing Fortnite with his pregnant girlfriend on the couch. I thought he had a different pregnant girlfriend in the second EMCC season that focused on him in the final episodes.

    Vinyl

Depends on your time horizon. If you list them at reasonable prices and deliver good customer service on discogs, you will have nearly half of your chud bin liquidated in as little as thirty years.
  13. Now I am watching the new Where are they Now? episode and the one running back gets out of jail and comes how and sees his brother playing Fortnite and looks at it like some kind of indecipherable alien culture, then their mom tells the camera that the kids will stay out of trouble because they are playing "that game" until six am.
  14. I was thinking about how ironic it would be if EMAWesome had good taste in music. Then I click on the thread and it turns out he is listening to Rush, Boston, and Steely Dan.
  15. I was reading some comments from a person who watched some of the high level Juco games live on streaming channels and I get the idea that the football in these games is beyond unwatchable kind of bad. The plays on the Netflix series have only seconds from the gameplay and are often highlight plays where a quarterback throws a bad interception or a running back fumbles after running into a pile of guys. Almost all the footage from the games in this past season are coaches screaming obscenities, players getting injured, and just general dysfunction on the sidelines and the locker room. When Indy plays Iowa Central most of the players on the field are D-2 level talent type of guys who don't have anything like the speed of Power 5 football. The guys who bounce back to the big teams at the next level are mostly backups, rotation players and guys added for depth. After four seasons, we may only have one NFL player from the show.
  16. I have heard that the producers had a hard time finding a new school to partner with because the overwhelming initial reaction to each season is negative for the school. Netflix will keep cranking out documentary/reality shows about sports teams but I think Last Chance U is done.
  17. What could a good coach do with all that talent? Imagine if he installed some schemes the kids could learn fast, and have organized practices where everything happens on time, or if the coach could keep his composure and focus when things get hectic like you need to be on the sideline during the game?
  18. To be honest, part of me will be rooting for Coach Jason Brown and the Indy Pirates this season.
  19. I was watching Roadhouse and trying to think about how I would describe Netflix to someone from the eighties, like if I went back in time and had to describe it to someone then. I would probably start by saying its like Satellite or Cable tv, but you choose the shows you want to watch. But then I thought about how to describe to the random eighties people that the most "Streamed" show was about kids from the eighties and set to eighties music and based on the horror from the eighties.
