  1. Some kind of masked assassin or mexican bandit taking the field for Belgium.
  2. Fans in RCMP hats have legal authority to enter field and call for a penalty.
  3. [Falsetto voice] Oh, Cah-nah-dah...
  4. Literally nobody needed five minutes added to this half.

It doesn't matter how much money you spend on the system or the lighting. It just does not matter.
  6. Kinda related i guess
  7. My sources tell me that there is no way Mickey Joseph becomes the head coach because the big money donors, ad, and fans are still stuck in the nineties mentality. They seriously think that unless he wins 7 games this season he shouldn't even be considered for the job.
  8. Guy grew up in Illinois. If they pay him anything like market salary he may as well stay.
  9. I was listening to some radio guys talk about it this week, then the pregame interviews and videos on the B1G Network referenced the same thing before the Iowa game. Are you guys ready for the Bret Bielema Coaching Tree? Bret was an assistant for Hayden Fry, Bill Snyder, and then Barry Alvarez. The first two guys are infamous in Midwestern college football trivia for their coaching trees. Biels took with him the idea of hiring young ambitious guys who have the same kind of drive that he has to be the Head Man at a school. When you count the former Biels assistants who have taken up head jobs its pretty impressive. The old photos of Bielema from his playing days and early coaching time he looked pretty normal, like a genuine good looking athletic body type guy. The current good looking assistants, Barry Lunney Jr. (who coached against Bielema as an assistant at UTSA) and Ryan Walters on the defense look like they will be head coaches themselves someday. The defense has looked especially good in the Illini's fast start to the season.
  10. He is not done knocking people out.
  11. The target audience for the show doesn't subscribe to cable and tune in like in previous generations. Having a cable tv show aimed at young people, I have a hard time coming up with a valid metaphor. Only old people who want their social values reflected back at them make time for daily shows.
  12. It looks like the resident baby boomers and gen-xers are having a time with this news. Daily viewers for any channel other than Fox News are flatlining. The medium of the daily cable show is a relic The sense of humor of John Stewart doesn't adapt to todays social media. That old show isn't coming back. The audience isn't there.
  13. Break them up!!!!
  14. Nebraska has a group of donors from the business community in Omaha and Lincoln that dwarfs the donor base for Iowa or Iowa State. They just have more guys cutting big checks. After basically 20 years of futility the donations keep coming in.
