  1. I didn't find a thread that included this illness. If it gets some response, I'll post photos of my systems and encourage others. I'm fairly modest in my collecting, largely because I also fish a lot, and there's only so much room in my house, and part of it is occupied by my wife, who just doesn't get it. In my searches for various gear I have run into some folks who are really sick with it. I'm talking about several rooms dedicated to equipment, a system in every room in the house, and more in storage. I could not get away with it to that extent, but I kind of understand wanting to hear them all. My home office system: Sansui 771, Pioneer PL 518 with a Sure 97E, Teac CD player (modern model that allows USB access to the DAC), and ADS L520s. My den system: Kenwood 7600, Pioneer PL S40 with an AT conical (Model?) a Toshiba DVD player for CD, and some too late to be great Pioneer 3 ways, that need replacing. I recently came to possess a Definitive Tech monster sub (maybe 15") and an M&K Volkswoofer (almost as big as the DT) that I do not need and would like to trade for a set of decent floor standers or towers. The subs are in great condition but I have not hooked them up to test. I'd also consider trading for a better quality MM cartridge. Now, a word of encouragement: I understand, there's so much out there you want to hear, and match up. Which receiver would make these speakers sound even better? Is the harshness due to a revealing source and revealing speakers? Maybe if I could find some East Coast speakers it would mellow it out. And then there's the heavy stuff: tubes, mono block amps, $3,000 cables. It's ok. As long as your eating well and still have an interest in sex, you're doing ok.
  2. Spank me! No, spank me! Spank me.....
  3. So the PAC is going to talk about going big and not compromising, etc., while the only teams that fit geographically and competitively end up somewhere else. Bold plan.
  4. Utah's QB room will have filtered out by the time he gets tired of waiting to start, but I'm thinking he'll aim a little higher, at the end of his RS freshman season.
  5. It would be good to have a competent CF.
  6. Aggy will have to figure out how to unshit their pants.
  7. It is funny how they seem to insist on confirming what all their SEC brethren have suspected all along. They are whiny bitches with self loathing issues who focus their entire existence as an institution on wanting to be equal to U.T. Austin. I look forward to Texas high school kids realizing they can play in the SEC, stay close to home, and not have to live in collie station where dead dogs get their own score board. WHOOP!
  8. With timing this bad, he was never going to break up a pass. Amirite?
  9. Aggy should show us sips and the meanies of the SEC by taking our place as the flagship school of the Big 12. They can have a big rivalry with Tech. That'd be nice. Aggy, Tech and Baylor could talk about how they are the "real" Texas schools, etc. Maybe bring in uh and smu. That would be a lovely little conference for aggy.
  10. It is really funny how they think they have any say, beyond their vote, in the conference they adore, but which seems to generally ignore them.
  11. When I hear "Jackson State" I also hear circus music.
  12. I recall Aker's Angels from my early days at UT. They were very hot, and always in attendance at recruiting functions. I do not know if they were offering spiritual guidance, or otherwise. But they were world class, no doubt.
  13. Any "be true to your school" emoting aside, this is a move I feel better about when it's a RB. Much of what they do can't be coached, or requires very little coaching to refine. I don't think OL or DBs could do this and be ready for the college game. Even DL need that final season to learn and practice technique.
  14. Unless the goal was to generate talk, clicks, jersey sales, etc., Meyer could simply have hired him as an analyst or such. The goal wasn't to give his old QB a paycheck. It was to get work avoiding, internet experts to debate over an otherwise irrelevant NFL also ran team from Florida. And if I had worked my ass off to move off of a practice squad onto the roster, I'd be really pissed.
  15. Can I be Lumbering Big Guy? No one claimed lumbering or big yet. And I'm both big and lumbering, so the I'll need an XXXL unitard, or whatever those things are called.
  16. "State Champions"? Really? That's like a participation trophy you can wear on your hand! A metallic orange slice.
  17. Poor aggy was stuck soliciting coeds through the car window, and no, she couldn't help you with that.
  18. She told you that to make you feel better but it's all good. I didn't hurt it, much.
  19. You could both ask your moms and your wives. They know.
  20. It moved a little. Not much, but just a little.
  21. In my quiet fantasy world I believe Sark is sending him there to wow Nick then stick with his commitment to Texas. That's a nice thing for me to believe.
  22. I couldn't stop saying this last night. Wife left the room. Sometimes the cards aint worth a dime if you don't lay em down...
