  1. Shame about all that M gear. At least his family will have clothes to wear when they change the oil or unclog a drain.
  2. Is that a Sears poncho or a real poncho?
  3. Looks like a basketball move from a great point
  4. Have to have time to sell lots of car insurance, pharmaceuticals, cheap beer, etc.
  5. Upon reflection (kid's 28 now) it was NB wide ass shoes for basketball, and UA wide ass shoes for football. He wanted to wear Nike, but they were just too narrow. And I had some of those blue and white bad boys in the day. I now text a picture of my prospective NB purchase to my 21 year old daughter for final approval before purchase. Wouldn't want to be ostracized by my own family.
  6. If your kid becomes a high school O lineman, you'll really love NB. Wide sizes, well built, last more than half a season. And as a fat dad, I like them very much too. So fuck the haters, my feets are happy.
  7. I didn't know it could get this hard.
  8. I never thought anything like this would happen to me or that I'd be writing about it, but my first day at the car wash was really hectic...
  9. I thought I had read years ago that he was academically smart in contrast to his goofy appearance. Maybe not. I mean, Mensa Tom always looked brilliant on the sidelines.
  10. I may have my wires crossed, but I could swear I read somewhere that Les Miles had a very high IQ. Like MENSA high. Seems about right.
  11. I prefer to look ahead not to him replacing Bijan, but to him joining Blue to become the next unstoppable RB duo in what I hope is a long line of unstoppable RB duos at Texas. RBU is not a bad thing.
  12. I was curious how he looked after contact, but squaring him up and delivering a blow just doesn’t seem to happen, at least not in that video. Always slashing
  13. The Miami Cotton Bowl bitch slapping was pretty awful, too. Sitting in the stands in Dallas wondering why the usual punt return team wasn't taking the field, followed by "How 'bout them dogs?" I will forever hate Miami and Georgia.
  14. Hell yes! I screamed at the television in a complete lather. Scared my mom. Also, letting the fucking Bills come back. Also, either of the two Maryland embarrassments.
  15. I do not pretend to know a lot about QBs, but this kid appears to have raw talent. And taking him, in my uneducated opinion, has benefits to the program that go beyond his ultimate on field contributions. He is a highly rated, west coast, quarterback, who has been a topic since he was in 8th grade. He is also said to be very bright and motivated. If he never plays a down but is instrumental in bringing other talent, that is significant. Does it prevent Ewers from considering a flip? Not if he is a competitor. If he doesn't come to Texas because of Murphy, he deserves to live in Columbus, Ohio.
  16. If you handed an NFL franchise to a group of 14 year olds from Slovenia, and told them to run it, someone in the group would say "we need to hire someone who knows a lot about how these teams are run, and has had a lot of success at the highest level of this NFL thing." That would place said group of 14 years olds from Slovenia miles ahead of the Texans' ownership in terms of decision making.
  17. Bijan, Roschon, Brooks, Daniel Young coming back, and Blue for the2022 class. Derrian? I doubt he contributes on the field but I hope he's around. That's not a bad running back room.
  18. I think this kid ends up being a solid contributor. He plays hard.
  19. This thread title suddenly becomes all to accurate: https://www.yahoo.com/news/lsu-football-coach-ed-orgeron-005715145.html
  20. Things will never be so bad that I lurk on a blow u board and talk shit.
  21. Fuck him. I hope he fails to win a game and they run his ass off. But honestly, I will not go to the trouble of searching for news about the Jacksonville Jaguars to determine if that is happening.
  22. Nowhere in the tweet did he thank God or his family. Sealed indictment in the works.
  23. I'm lazy and busy at the same time so I'm not going back to review the evidence that Mike Stoops was really coming to Texas. But I have to believe this was an artful troll by some pissed off Bama fans who actually own a computer. I can't believe that Sark wasn't told that some coaches are non-starters, and Mike Stoops is at the top of the list. If it really happened, then I fault Sark for wanting to bring that turd anywhere near our players, and I fault CDC for not getting the message (even if he and Stoops like to nude leg wrestle on the weekends) to Sark that the fanbase would simply lose their collective mind with that asshole on our sidelines. It feels like it was a rumor, spawned by trolls, that went viral. That's what me, Santa, and the Easter Bunny all choose to believe.
