  1. How did this color turn out when you received them? Also, can you point me in the direction to them on the world wide web?
  2. I would really like to knock out Izzy, if not only for the fact that she knows abt Cirie and Jared. And poor Izzy...she's always inches away from crying but she doesn't want to be the contestant who cries all the time. She is constantly fighting back her tears, and I find it quite amusing when her face begins to contort as her emotions begin to take control.
  3. Steamboat has more early season snow, imo. I have no stats to back that up. I have only been to SS once, and one of the days was a Powdercats trip with 13" of fresh. The main mountain got 6-8". Flew in to Hayden. I really want to go back, and plan on taking the family in the next few years.
  4. The only way he doesn't go home is if something like the Scary-verse pipes up and removes him to the nether region and won't allow the previous HOH to be in the house for a week or something along those lines. The producers want him to stay SOOOO bad.
  5. yep. It could've been so easy, and REALLY good tv watching Hisam try to convince the house of his views.
  6. I am in the market for some ski boots. I have never bought ski boots before, but I think its abt time, and, I really just like gear and I want to buy some gear. It needs to be from REI, since I have a gift card there. I am NOT trying to spend $600-$700, but if it gives me the most comfortable day on the mountain, I would. https://www.rei.com/c/downhill-ski-boots The reviews on the below boots are amazing, but I just want some outside opinions on brands since I have only a rented in the past, and I take whatever fits and is given to me at the rental shop. I like groomers, and ski resorts. I am a strong intermediate skier, but do not go outside the ropes. I like trees, but spend abt 5% in them. Thoughts?
  7. The burn scar looks like an ash donkey, or ashy ass.
  8. I know last year was extraordinary regarding snowfall, so I am keeping my expectations tempered yet hopeful. The town looks really quaint, which will make my wife happy.
  9. Unless we can get a veto comp based on boob size, unfortunately I think you're right.
  10. Just booked Red River, NM with the family between Christmas and New Years. This will be my first trip ever to RR. I am a little worried abt the amount of snow at that time of year, but we are going to chance it. Any recs on places to eat, etc., would be appreciated. We re staying slope side and will be driving the 9-10 hours. Have Big Sky, MT booked for January. This will be my first time skiing in Montana, and I cant wait. I am pretty sure I am geared up for any potential super cold weather, but I guess we will find out. I am really excited to ski some new mountains, and my kids are equally excited to hit the slopes in ski school.
  11. You're about to double your workload with no added compensation monetarily. Heads up.
  12. My wife said the same thing. We will not be back to the Caribbean/Yucatan after the success with the Pacific and its proximity to Dallas.
  13. There were definitely some explosions in the bathroom, but I don't think that's the room you are speaking of.
  14. Got back from 4 nights at Playa Escondida just outside of Sayulita. We were 2 of 8 people in the entire place, so it was incredibly quiet (except for the very intense t-storms at night). This is considered the offseason, which I would highly recommend. The first day we hung out at the beach and drank fruity beach drinks for a few hours, and then made our way into Sayulita. We had surf lessons the next day so we tried get a lay of the land. Sayulita was a sleepy town when we were there (Fri-Tues). Obviously the weekend had more people, but we are accustomed to Cancun and other major tourist towns. For surfing, we took a bus to La Lancha, a beach just south of Punta Mita, and had a blast. We were pretty bruised up the next day from the actual board, but it was not intense whatsoever. I got Montezumas Revenge that night, so my food and booze intake for the remainder of the trip was limited. I blame it on some random street tacos, but I have no regerts. I highly recommend the place we stayed. It has AMAZING snorkeling, and the food was much better than average. There are several options for rooms, but AC was at the top of our list. They had just wrapped up filming the Bachelor in Paradise, so the grounds were fantastic. https://playa-escondida.com/
  15. My wife wants to go to Monarch for my bday. I am very basic and love Javiers, as its also very convenient. Does anyone have any experience with Monarch downtown? I don't want to read the whole thread.
  16. Temps will not be your concern. It will be the wind. We had 2 beautiful days, and the last 5 had ~30 mph sustained. Still very comfortable, but the seas can get a little bumpy if you're sailing.
  17. There is a San Diego thread that was really helpful to me and my family, but I'm too lazy to look it up.
  18. Max Homa's putting is off the charts good. JFC
