  1. Wow, just saw on the ESPN bottom line that the entire SMU student section was removed from the game for not following safety protocols. Damn. https://www.si.com/college/2020/10/04/police-kick-out-smu-student-section-mask-wearing-social-distance
  2. Crowd sounds pretty good for the smaller size
  3. Jimmy is only 42 years old? He looks old as hell for that age. Dee has the tech savvy and mental acuity of someone at least 10 years older. Dr. Jen seems about right for her age.
  4. Watching through now. It looks like Flanagan is the Dem candidate, and the others are splitting up the conservative vote. Looks like it could be smooth sailing for him, especially if he other three split up half of the vote.
  5. She wore that damn red dress again, didn't she? Update: while watching, I noticed that Dee Harrison said in her opening statement that she was the only candidate with public safely experience. Quite a slight to Ms. Kelly.
  6. That of course means things re setting up for Bama-Clemson again.
  7. I like how Kentucky and Va Tech are both ranked despite not having played since they played each other in the Belk Bowl.
  8. Nah, I used to live there and they're totally used to it.
  9. If anyone is money with a big lead, it's the Atlanta Falcons.
  10. I assume the SMU area south of Austin is Texas State's territory? In reality, they should just have Hays County. Maybe you could extend it to Comal and Caldwell countie, but even those would be a stretch.
  11. Virginia Tech, who may not play this month, is #19??
  12. That sucks. That was looking like a legit really good game.
  13. Where do I put $10 on VT being ranked at the end of the month without playing a game?
  14. Damn, blowout city in the Marshall-EKU game. At least EKU can take solace they will definitely finish as a top 15 FCS team.
  15. I know this isn't the general CFB discussion thread, but the 3 games so far have had one thing in common: they have taken forever. IIRC they all have lasted about 4 hours. For the sake of player safety, (both disease exposure and CTE/other injuries) clock rules more like the NFL's should be adopted. The college clock rules were not meant for the current pass-heavy game. Shorter games also make for better competitive balance between teams, as the favorite is more likely to have time to come back under the current system. In summation: let's make it so aggy really did just run out of time.
  16. One of his accusers also said his apartment was a Horders: Buried Alive-level pig sty. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8640399/Photos-inside-former-porn-star-Ron-Jeremys-filthy-cockroach-infested-Hollywood-apartment.html
  17. Somewhat ironically, Liberty under his leadership is considered one of the most prominent anti-tenure universities in the US.
  18. A probe into Falwell's tenure has been announced. Do you think they'll let him watch them as they probe? https://www.liberty.edu/news/2020/08/31/liberty-university-board-pledges-full-commitment-to-spiritual-mission-and-launches-independent-investigation/
  19. I think you have a very good point. i was thinking "Who in Austin is she appealing to with the "disgusting liberal" talk?" Duh, the state GOP elite. They love living in Austin, (selectively) sampling the local culture, and of course running the state government, but can't even with the people who actually live here. Perfect pitch to draw the attention and support of that crowd.
  20. Unless she wins, then it's another manifestation of the hell that is 2020.
